This could be a serious problem. If Hatton didn't train very hard in anticipation of
a short night, AND cut his training even more in the event of an illness, he
might have to rush the weight loss right before the fight and come in slow and
tired, elements that contribute to the fight going the distance.

Is there much chance of Hatton getting knocked out or losing by decision?

Not really, but even if he wins by decision, he will probably end up tired at the end like his match with Urango, though at this point I guess he really doesn't have much to lose seeing as the biggest fight in the near future for him is Pauli Malignaggi and a poor performance only makes him more appetizing for Pacquiao or De La Hoya. Two fights he would probably love to make.

Hatton puts his poor performance at the Urango fight down to a cold he picked up in Vegas so this is very bad news. Hatton's stamina is on the decline as it is because of his lifestyle so almost 2 weeks lost draining could seriously effect his chances of putting on a good comeback performance

Still think this is hattons fight but with talk off illness, coming back after a crushing defeat and stupid odds on Lazcano I will be throwing a few quid against the hitman.

He should stop being pig headed and postpone. I remember Hamed fighting Medina when he was ill, and he said he would never do it again

he's in for a big payday against an average opponent who apparently is putting in a half assed effort in training. Postponement would be a last resort.

It's pretty clear he has herpes on his lip, what else does he got? If he'd stop sleeping with male prostitutes he'd be all set.

this is worrying for hatton, lazcano is a very durable opponent and didn't see hatton koing him anyway,if this is true we could see hatton struggling in the final rounds and an upset may be possible.
