It looks bad for Pacman. He'll probably lose a lot of credibility if he carries on like this

Both are going to lose a lot of money. Is there really a fight right now for either that would be the same revenue? I ask because I don't really follow this weight that closely.

I think you are right but if this scenario was played out between two unnamed boxers you'd say that one boxer was ducking the other.

Mayweather would be just as big for Pacquiao. I have a feeling that fight would sell like crazy in the US. Both got a ton of exposure off of DLH.

I doubt Hatton could get a fight even close to that magnitude. Especially at 140. He would have to move up to 147 and fight the winner of Cotto/Margarito and I am quite sure he does not want that.

The problem is Mayweather is retired, what options does that leave Pac? In the same boat as Hatton.

i think hatton needs pac man more than vice versa so hatton should just accept his payday and get on with it u know he could try 2 prove pacman wrong wich i doubt

I'd bet my life that if Hatton-Pac doesn't happen that Hatton will earn more money than Pac in their next fights.

Its a cert, Mayweather has shown no serious intent to box again and Hatton has the fall back of fighting any number of opponents in front of (at least) 60,000 people with 1 million UK PPV sales. Whats Pac got that can gross anywhere near that sort of money?

Its arum and roach making the decision. Like Pacquiao says after every fight "Its my promoters job"

Both Arum and Roach have said the 50/50 split is fair. The people behind this are Pac little gang in the Phillipines.

  14. This has been more or less confirmed by Bob Arum....

He said to Buncy " This happems with Manny all the time, he agrees a deal in priciple THEN he goes back to the philipines and all his hangers on get inside his head and decides he wants more money... Then two weeks later Manny comes back to the States and says.... OK OK Bob i will take the deal"

I a few ppl have touched on it on here that the Pinoy way of business is much diffrent from how we conduct business in the UK/U.S

Yeah right . . . what happened to the "filing a suit" bluff ??? :rofl

I dare Team Hatton to stop making new offers and pull out right away. :deal

    :hi:
