Guys, they are still negotiating. What do you expect? Do you expect Pac to just accept the first offer? Of course, he wants to know how far Hatton will bend to accomodate his counter-offer. Boxing after all is business. But if this fight will not push thru because of his demands, then, that's the time to call Pac, "stupid". Otherwise, call him "brilliant" if Hatton would give in to a 60/40 or even 55/45 share.

I'd agree with your points except that Pac DID accept 50/50.;)

No matter, lets hope it gets signed ASAP.

In another thread, they said Pac rejected 52-48.

I'm not really sure but, it was also reported that Arum accepted the offer without consulting Pac. But I agree that Pac should not renegade on his word if he already accepted 50/50.

they need to sign the fight already. Pac needs to stop dicking around. Hatton is the bigger draw. 50/50 is fine for pacman.

It should be the winner takes 60% and the loser 40%.

arum negotiated that 50/50 verbal agreement w/o getting pac's say on that matter. he thought that pac will just "play dead" and go along with it but he was mistaken. pac has the last say before any fight contract is signed. there is no signed contract here, is there? top rank and golden boy were in such a big rush to get this fight signed and that's what led to all of this. in the first place, all of these fight negotiations should be professional and not out in the open like this.

Are you serious? Do you know what Hatton brings to the table? His fanbase is massive and rich. They will travel, spend plenty of money or buy expensive PPV. Pac's fanbase is massive and poor. They won't get anything moneywise from his Phillipino fans (no disrespect to poor people).

Pac is becoming greedy. I hope the fight goes ahead and he gets KTFO. Ricky will be too strong for the little twerp.

pac has a huge built-in fanbase in the US. there are about 4.5M filipino-americans living in the US now. and you can be sure that each and every one of them knows pac and follows his fights just like they do in his home country.
