Lads who do you lot rate better Martinez or Quigg?. Is Hatton asking Frampton to beat a better fighter to get this man?..

I don't rate Martinez that much but he's hard to beat. You gotta have a bit about you to beat him.

looks like Martinez has another fight lined up.

maybe Casey for the Irish or Arthur for the Vacant British.

Unfortunately Casey doesnt look like happening, from the article below
"(Pat)Magee ruled out the possibility of fighting former champion Willie
Casey as another of the voluntary defences, as he believes ‘Big
Bang’s’ promotional backing isn’t strong enough at present."

Pity cos other than Quigg, Munroe or Kiko the Casey fight would seem to make the most sense.

Martinez would knock out Quigg imo. Martinez would be a much better win as things stand, should Quigg beat Munroe, he would undoubtedly be a better win for Frampton should he beat him.

Frampton v Martinez is a 50/50 at this point imo. Maybe ever so slightly favouring Carlos.

Just to add, I don't think Hatton, Gallagher or Quigg believe Quigg can beat Frampton.

think your getting a bit to biased there mate.

Frampton is the best long term but right now Munroe beats both.

At the the moment you'd have to rate Kiko above Quigg, he looked very good in his last outing. Very tough fight for Frampton if it comes off.

Would be a disappointing if Frampton and Quigg both lose, although i reckon there'd be a better chance of actually seeing them facing each other.

Not biased at all. Just don't rate Quigg the way many on here do. Munroe would probably beat Frampton now too.

i would say most on here rate quigg.

  14. I don't think Gallagher fancies Quigg's chances, his ''Frampton is just another Junior Witter'' interview was embarrassing.

In fairness Hatton is probably right, if Quigg beats Munroe (far from a given admittedly) then Frampton does need to beat a Martinez level fighter to elevate himself to a position to make the fight.

It's not as if Hatton is putting Quigg in with bums and saying ''you've got to fight someone first''.
