Hatton vs Khan is huge in this country. Put it on PPV, they get £2.50 each per buy and just watch the money roll in. Make the fight at 10pm and they could set a PPV record. 5 million or something crazy like that.

Put it in Wembey and 100,000 people would go.

This is possibly the biggest money making fight in British history.

Hatton might need a come back fight to make it bigger. Too many people think he is done and Khan is the new kid on the block. Funny that when Khan can't spell pound for pound and Hatton only lost to the two best fighters of the past 10 years.

Good post. The question will be whether Hatton really wants it anymore. There's no way he can be as hungry as Khan.

Some people would have even more cause to hate Khan if he beats up Hatton, not sure its a smart move for him.

Historys is littered with fighters disliked by the public for beating up popular former champs, Larry Holmes and Gene Tunney spring to mind

I agree... This fight has got Wembley Stadium written all over it...:yep

Mega bucks for both fighters promoting this fight...:good

I never thought I would say this but I fancy Khan... He will jab and move all night long, not allowing Hatton to get inside...

You can understand why Hatton wants this fight...a, to make a shedload of money and b, to show that he can promote a contest like this at the highest level...

It would really map him as a Promoter... I wonder which title Matthew will fight for on the undercard...you know it's gonna happen...lol...:yep

And Hatton will just keep on coming, eventually getting him on the ropes and win by decapitation. :deal If Khan try to dance round Hatton he gets KO'd imo, he's no Mayweather.

Khans jab will keep him at bay, he will throw uppercuts and right hands in...

Hatton punch resistance is gone... Khan is no banger, he ain't going to have to be though...

I have been to all of Hattons fights including 4 trips to Las Vegas, I just cannot see Amir Khan losing to Ricky Hatton...:yep

It is Khan who will be the victor... He is with a great team at the Wild Card and he can only get better...:yep

I think he'll fight Marquez and then Khan if he wins.

Perhaps, but his punch resistance is not what it once was & if anything, having to once again lose loads of weight will only hinder his punch resistance even further!

Hatton must weigh 180lbs plus atm. He's looks more out of shape than he has ever done before. More so than before he started training for Tszyu & he had to lose something near 42lbs for that fight!

Make it happen, I'd love to see it.

I don't know why people seem so sure that Hatton is done. I'm not saying he isn't because he coud be but how can people be so sure? Cuz he lost to Manny? Many is an ATG. Hatton wasn't competetive in that fight but who knows the reason for that? He may have had mental demons of his past loss to Mayweather, he may have had problems in camp, or overtrained etc or maybe Manny is that good? I'm not making excuses or anything because Manny beats him any day, he's just much better. I'm just saying that only Ricky really knows how much he has left. People talk about his punch resistance. Man, Pac floored Cotto, the guys got power, as simple as that. Hatton wasn't knocked down against Lazcano. He may not have looked good and may have been troubled but he still won. People got short memories, look what he did to Paulie Malignaggi. Maybe a break is what he needed.

People have been saying for years how his lifestyle will **** him up, and it has probably caught up with him but he's always done what he had to do and only fallen short against the elite. He didn't lose to Mayweather or Manny because he's over the hill, he lost because he doesn't have the skills to deal with the best of the best. That doesn't mean he shouldn't continue.

Like I said, he MAY be finished, but personally I need more evidence to be convinced than two losses against the two best fighters of this era.

Well we all have our opinions but i don't think khan's jab will keep hatton at bay at all. paulie has a far superior jab to khan's and that didn't stop hatton. I think hatton would rough khan up and wear him down eventually stopping him in the 6th. You must remember pacquiao has extraordinary punching power at 140-147 and he's quicker than khan on his feet and with his punches. If anyone's basing this fight on hatton-pac because khan has quick hands i think they should reconsider coz khan's got nothing on pacquiao.
Also hatton's sparring with brother matthew beats anything the wild card gym has to offer khan. C'mon man wake up :hey
