Hatton to face Cotto or Marquez if they lose?

I reckon he'd lose to both. Cotto is too big and would KO him. JMM would make him look silly. If he does carry on fighting I suppose he should fight JMM as that shouldn't be as brutal since JMM is smaller than him. But still I think he should pack it in. Or fight Khan.

 

If he does decide to come back I would have him in at least two warm-up fights first, maybe a comeback against a gimme opponent and then a fight with a solid fringe world-class guy (maybe someone like Steve Forbes or D Hopkins) who could show whether he still has it. If so then maybe a fight with one of those gys could be a consideration. I would have these in quick succession without giving him the chance to get out of shape or put his feet up in between fights. Regretably, as I doubt he has the desire or discipline to do this I can't see it coming to pass.

 

With Hatton's defence and JMM combinations that doesn't end well. I think Cotto destroys him also. I would prefer him to fight khan or go back and pick up a light welter title and retire

 

:dealAll of this. The Witter fight is the only one I wanted to see but after Witter's last performance, that will now never happen:-(. There is not a lot of choice left for Hatton now if he returns, all of the fights he can win won't happen because they won't make enough money. Just retire, Ricky, there's no shame in your record.

 

Hatton and Witter should be thinking of nobody else but each other. Hatton gets sparked by these 2. Bradley would beat him and Alexander has every reason to believe he could too. Witter isn't marketable enough to be thinking of the likes of JMM/Cotto and has been beat by Bradley and Alexander. If these 2 have a single fight more which isn't each other then its a disgrace IMO.

Both ****ed it now on world level. 1 last fight, bragging rights forever, at the MEN or small stadium. Top atmosphere and it'll give everyone what they want. Both are at similiar stages in there careers so have no 'i'm past it excuses'.

There careers should end with this fight and this fight only

He has not yet walked through Cotto, although I do expect him to win that one. There's no way he walks through Floyd though. If Floyd looks **** against Marquez he wont take Pac on until he's ready so thats irrelevant.

And your letting your personal views on Burns cloud your judgement. I'm almost certain if the next fight both have is against each other, Burns beats mitchell
