No. It's never going to happen. Floyd offered 60-40 to PacMan, and that 100% on the table is much less than the PacMan-Hatton 100% since there's no UK PPV involved. Now can you imagine PacMan taking 40% for this fight, about the half he would've earned vs. Ricky? But I think there's a better chance for Hatton-JMM with Floyd staying retired (although on 50-50 terms with UK PPV share he would get more than 60% with Pac). No way PacMan would take even 45% and Floyd won't go below that. Two fighters who are incapable of normal negotiations rarely make a fight. In an economy like this, Top Rank can't guarantee $10-12M for EACH fighter.
Nonsense. Why should Hatton get another chance vs. PBF. He was schooled in the first fight and ran into the turnbuckle. The people want Pacquiao-Mayweather.
Appreciate people doubting this, hence the first line saying it was not a direct source, although he told me about the Khan Barrera fight a week before the press release. For me JMM would be a dream fight, but I am a bit disturbed by Gareth Williams comment this morning stating he may fight DLH instead. I hope to God this is not true. Oscar should retire, and Hatton should have a word with himself if he even opens negotiations. That would be the death of modern boxing for me as it would really only be for the $$$.
No suprise that PBF would be keen on this fight, as I reckon he woulve been impressed with the UK PPV sales in their last fight - and the thought of selling out a stadium and a lot of PPVs in the UK, then in turn, the US - its massive coin, bigger than anything else out there for him.. it wouldnt matter who Floyd fought, same result..
your damn right man...according to an unnamed source he's hiding in the basement of some **** diner in Trenton New Jersey :think
Funny you mention it...I just ran into Heath Ledger at the mall looking at the new releases...he bought the dark knight...what? :huh....too soon??!! :think
