hatton should know his limitations, just because he might get home advantage by no means makes him have a better chance of beating mayweather

    Ricky "The Clown" Hatton...

Maybe the source of this rumour is correct maybe not but the truth of the matter is that Ricky "The Clown" Hatton has deluded himself into thinking that he can beat Floyd Mayweather Jr and he only lost the first fight because of Joe Cortez.

    The man is a fool.

Give it a rest mate. You think Maywesther Snr would let him fight Floyd if there wasnt a chance?

i know and i do like hatton but i would prefer 2 see him in more competitive fights than ones where his style is easily handled by the other guy

You said you wanna see him in more competitive fights. For Hatton, who is gonna be more COMPETITIVE than PBF? Pac, NO! Sorry, PBF is Hatton's most competitive opponent out there, unless you find someone at 147 like AM or PW & above weights. And styles make fights, not all styles are gonna be the same. Its not about matching the best styles up, its about matching the best fighters up. So you tell me who's gonna be more competitive & tell me what style would yo like to see Hatton against?

i know what an idiot - he's done really badly in life. I bet he wakes up and hates himself a little more every day until his bank statements arrive. Maybe he is a clown but he got a golden nose instead of a cheap plastic red one.

Anyway surely a lot of boxing is about 'deluding' oneself and believeing you can beat the guy in front of you (hmm david haye). With many fighters this self delusion turns into reality - always a risk when fists and heads are variables in the equation.

Above all I wanna see Pacquiao/Hatton, and I'd rather see JMM/Hatton any day before another Hatton/Mayweather. Sadly, it's no longer about what the fans want, but only about what the fighters want in terms of $$$. We just gotta sit back and hope we get the good/desired fights or the next best thing to it.
