Hatton to fight Malignaggi in MSG, Autumn

witter is hatton's main threat and number one contender in the division. deal with it. if hatton doesn't take the fight he'll forever be known as the bloke who got schooled by floyd and ducked witter.

 

Hatton would bulldoze through Malignaggi but it's Witter who he should be fighting.

 

He will fight Witter, we all know he will, why fight now for X amount, when they can both get 2 portions of the 140 title and fight a unification battle for XXXXXXX amount.

 

Makes sense if that comes off it would be massive. I'm not counting my chickens though.

 

yeah i agree, its a big risk for both and if hatton takes out malignaggi, the witter hatton fight will crown the winner.. peace

 

i mean hopkins that witter is fighting is overrated, witter is very classy fighter and has great skills, a big threat to hatton. I am a hatton fan, i just dint like witters personality, but he is great to watch lately. he should never have fought zab... it ruined him

it's hatton FFS!!!!! he can sell out arenas and do good PPV numbers fighting dave the postman! hatton is stalling. probably waiting for witter to get old like hatton's two marquee victorys.

 

it dosent matter, Hatton fighting for Witters WBC isnt a bigger spectacle than 2 title witter V 2 title Hatton for unification.

 

I was unaware Ricky Hatton had discovered the elixir of eternal youth.

Ofcourse it all makes sense now! Wait until Witter is too old to punch back and call him out.

 

unification doesn't matter because hatton is already the undisputed champion of the division. all the plastic titles in the world can't top that crown.

 

The promoters and media love the word 'unification' though don't they.

Also Hatton does enjoy the admittedly self appointed moniker of 'the man at 140'.

Winning a unification fight against a man who is fast becoming a more well known nemesis at Wembley or Eastlands would be the finale Hatton is looking for. A rematch with PBF would only be another brutal KO on his record so this the most viable option. I firmly believe this fight will happen. When it's marketability is at it's zenith.
