Ricky Hatton says headlining bills at Madison Square Garden and the City of Manchester Stadium are his ambitions going forward, though he admitted to remaining bitter at referee Joe Cortez for his performance in the Floyd Mayweather Jr fight.

Not in the slightest. The proof of the pudding is in the eating. look at the myriad of excuses and everyone is repelled and yet the Hatton zealots still believe they have a case as to why the fight has happened?

 

I believe he was referring to the B Level titlists at WW. Mayweather is surely not included in that bunch of imposters. Cintron and Quitana are the leaders in the pack of B level 'champs' hatton could take on at WW. That would be interesting.. Hatton cleans up WW, has two straps, then I could see the PBF rematch possibly. Just a thought

Another thought...Hatton should go up and fight Cotto for his vacated belt. That would be a more accurate test to see where cotto is in comparison to PBF.

 

He does have a case and im not a Hatton hugger, Witter blew his chance V Judah and became a nobody. Hatton didnt blow his V zoo and became a somebody. Now Witter has started re-climbing the ladder, Hatton has fell from his lofty heights and they are both mingling in the same spot on the same ladder, Hatton probably a couple of rungs higher, if Witter gets another portion of the title he moves up this make believe ladder I keep talking about then Hatton has to fight him or move up the ladder again, thier is nowhere Hatton can go as he is on the top rung of the ladder as thier is nobody else to fight so he will have to fight Witter!

Or jump on the 147 ladder, but thats along hard ladder.


After reading that through it amde **** all sense.

Basically Hatton has nowher to go if Witter gets more pieces of the title.

 

Got a little caught up in the Hatton part of the argument... What has Paulie done to deserve a fight against the 'top guy' at 140? Who has he impressively beat? Better Question.. Who has he KO'd?
