Oh, so now the theory depends on position AND who the goals were scored against. Crikey, this equation is getting awfully subjective. If I didn't know any better I'd say you were full of hot air Is there any other filter you would like on Berbatov's stats for the coming season? Give yourself the best chance of not getting shown up.
Berbatov takes them as well, I'm not sure who the first choice is though. Theres a few of his pens on YouTube, maybe United feel they may need another penalty taker in the near future????
So you don't think position and who the goals were against are important? You must love flat track bullies....
Oh no, its fair enough. At the end of the season you can feel free to chalk off some of the 20+ goals for any reason at your discretion, so as to avoid embarrasment
Yes, you continue to stare at stats. I'll judge by what I see, who I see goals scored against, in what context the goals are scored and their finishing in general.... I wonder who gets the better perspective....
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dimitar_Berbatov If you look at his stats on here I'd say he was a proven goalscorer over a long period of time. Just look at his goals per game ratio in international football, very impressive. I do get what onourway is saying about United having 3 similar players in Tevez, Rooney and Berbatov (presuming they get him). They are lacking a target man, but it didn't seem to harm them last year.
Yeah for some reason, given your history and propensity to post copious amounts of bull**** on the forum I tend not to put too much faith in your ability to reach a balanced conclusion based on several subjective factors. We'll see how it goes. At least one Hatton thread has been positively derailed, my glass is always half full.
Thats because Ronaldo getting 30+ from the wing papered over the Rooney/ Tevez partnership. If he goes you have a big gap to fill.....
I was going to make a serious Hatton thread tomorrow actually... It was sure to expose how irrational the sack swingers are in regards to there man....and perhaps even a few haters too.
Last year they had Ronaldo, the best player in the world, the scorer of many goals, the scorer of key goals, the player the opposition feared, the talisman.... ....next year they'll have flat track bully Berbatov and no more Ronaldo. That's why I think they'll not be the same.
Exactly my man, exactly. International = 0.6 goals per game German = 0.45 goals per game EPL = 0.4 goals per game Not too shabby. 0.5 goals per game as always been my rough guideline for a goal scorer, so he's pretty close if not there. Certainly see him managing it at United.
