From the news of the fight, "Former world champon Ricky Hatton has resumed training. The Hitman has been out of the ring since being demolished by Manny Pacquiao in May. After taking a cruise over Christmas, Hatton is expected to make an official comeback announcement in February. Accoreding to the Manchester Evening News, talks have begun for a fight against Juan Manuel Marquez at the City of Manchester Stadium" If Hatton dumps Floyd Sr., does he have a chance?
How? I dont think his chin is all that bad. He got nailed with two picture perfect punches by the best pound for pound fighters in the world. I know hes been rocked by other of a lesser caliber but hes still taken hard shots from pretty big punchers. Urango for instance, hatton took everything and kept coming
I have to nod in agreement with those who say Hatton has a chance. Not an overwhelming advantage however. Lets take the JMM-Diaz fight. Diaz hit him with some great looking shots but given that Diaz doesn't have that one-punch KO power, JMM took the shots pretty well and then unleashed those beautiful combinations to take out Diaz. Hatton, after the wear and tear of the Floyd and Pacquiao fights, is probably going to be a little slower and doesn't throw the kind of shots Diaz throws. I can see JMM countering back easier since Hatton's head movement is non-existent at this point. The only way I see Hatton winning is via the Kostya win, especially if this is going to be in England. However, if JMM continues the **** diet, Hatton definitely has no chance!
worst chin ?? wtf you talkin about? The guy is a tough *******! His lifestyle caught up 2 him which lead to his weight draining to meet weight messed him up big time.
