It would be nice for him to leave on a win, but I dont want him to try to win world titles or become P4P king again.

    Co:deal.

Hatton shows how big someone can truely get in boxing by having just enough boxing ability + a HUGE fan base.

I like Ricky, but at his best he was a mauling overall B+ fighter, with C level boxing technique.

We all saw what happened when he fought the best there was.

Beat me to it. On a serious note though, i'm glad he's hanging it up. Not much more to offer the sport & as it stands he's only been beaten by the 2 best fighters of this generation.

Deffo not mate however one of my greatest regrets if he doesn't fight again would be never having been to a Hatton fight!

He doesn't need the money but it would be nice to see a farewell in Manchester against a fighter who won't do him any damage.

Hell get Oscar out of retirement that would be huge!

    There's only one Ricky Hatton,
    One Ricky Hatton,
    Walking along,
    Singing this song,
    Walking in a Hatton wonderland.

I am perfectly fine with Hatton retiring. The guy made his best run. he tried versus the best available after being protected for a long time. no shame in losing to pac and floyd.

It seems he really likes to enjoy himself outside the ring, nothing wrong with that. Get fat and be merry as long as he handles his finances correctly he shouldnt ever have to worry.

I think Khan would be to mobile for hatton now.

He should fight Witter, so they can both retire with careers fully complete.

But we know thats NEVER going to happen.

    Will miss Hatton though

True that but the UK boxing public wouldnt care, and a high percentage of boxing fans would probably still give Hatton a chance due to khans chin.
I just want to see how the racist, beer drinking, Uk public ppl react seeing a Pakistani destroy their fighter

Hatton/Khan would've been huge. Now though, Khan is just too fast & mobile for Hatton.

Thats a good shout although i have a feeling Witter would beat Hatton now as he hasn't taken any of the beatings Ricky has. Also i think Hatton was always a little wary of Witter.

Khan is deffo too mobile for Hatton now and Ricky gets beaten up here
