    matthew hatton hasnt a hope in hell. Hes absolutely terrible and unwatchable.

    But il watching just to enjoy him getting his head taken off

    I'm a big fan of Rhodes but he's hardly put himself "out there" for a world title shot since the Moore win over 2 years ago. Of course that doesn't make Canelo-Hatton any more justifiable as a world title fight....

    Matthew Hatton deserves an opportunity in my eyes, his couple of defences of a European title shows this fact regardless of what you think of him

    The big issue IMHO is that the title shot is at light middleweight, if Hatton deserves a shot its at welter.

    It was just over 1 year ago, not 2. He has been rather quiet since though.

    He's still ahead of Matthew Hatton in the queue for a WBC light middleweight title shot.
