With the news that Hatton may be coming back to the sport, who do you think would win a match up between a young lion Berto and a veteran Hatton.:think

Anyone who voted Hatton needs to find another sport to watch. Berto would utterly destroy Ricky inside of 5 rounds.

Well I did and I will tell you why, Lets say Hatton of Old shows which is more likely than the hatton that improved while working with Mayweather sr...

Okay so get this the old hatton shows up what do we know about Berto? Power speed but fights in spots flat footed and stands right in front of you, we also know his chin is suspect, Collazo beat Berto, as did Ortiz, one is a banger the other one feather fisted.

This is how I acutally see this fight going, Hattons mulling style will not give Berto the distance needed to get off his shots, on the inside Ricky will tie him up and smother Bertos shots and the inside is where he is dangerous really but its also his downfall watch the Collazo fight watch the Ortiz fight he basically lays on you he is open to be hit cus he doesnt turn you he is squared up right in front.

I think Ricky can hurt him to the body, and may be able to move around in spots to avoid the early on explosiveness from Berto. Berto IMO is over rated, his chin is pure glass, sure hatton has been stopped twice, but both times that was to the best fighters on the planet.

Berto is not the best he isnt even one of the best right now his power is over rated he couldnt get glass jawed chicken hearted Ortiz out of there in fact he got his ass beat by Quitter Ortiz.

I honestly think Hatton has a very good chance to beat Andre Berto

He won't. It's physically impossible at this stage. And if you honestly believe Hatton could regain his prime form, you're brain dead.

Ortiz would KO Hatton at this point.

    Hatton's punches resistance is gone.

People forget that prior to the Pac fight, Hatton needed a hometown ref to save him from being KO'd by Juan Lazcano.

I disagree, like I said Collazo feather fisted beat Bertos ass, Hatton doesnt have to be a hard puncher to win... thats been prove by Luis Collazo

Hatton regressed under Mayweather. His best days were when he was facing WBU tin cans under Billy Graham. ANY version of Hatton has no chance vs Berto. Berto is a legit welter with fast hands that who can punch. That kind of style has always been the antithesis of Hatton.
