LMAO! You are aware that Collazo beat Hatton's ass aren't you?

Collazo-Berto was a razor close fight.

Collazo beat Hatton clearly, and got robbed.

You aren't the brightest bulb are you?

Ortiz, despite having the fighting IQ of a rock is a stud. Bet your life if Ricky fought Ortiz he would loose in even quicker fashion than Berto. The one thing that has been the bane of Rickys career was southpaws who can bang. Anyone who believes a fight with either man would be competitive clearly doesn't know much about this sport. You simply cannot rubbish Ortiz when the guy is one of the best fighters in the world at his weight.
And i'm afraid boxing 'maths' doesn't work in this sport. Go back and watch Hatton Collazo again. Much like many thought at the time it could have been construed as a robbery. Either way Hatton struggled with a shot journeyman in Lazcano. As much as Hatton fans want to talk up his career the reality is when he stepped up to the plate he got his clock cleaned in spectacular fashion. Thats what happens when you spend the best part of your career beating cab drivers and African road sweepers.

I am aware that Collazo beat Hatton, I am also aware that he beat Berto, But I feel that Berto is over rated, he lost to Ortiz as well a known quitter with a glass jaw and no heart he was out gutted in that fight...

Who has Andre Berto Beat? a Hatton Berto fight would look to me allot like KT and Hatton the difference is KT is more active in there Berto gets tired and stands right in front of you no defense what so ever

Are you sure its about being the brightest bulb, cus it looks like you have to be the blackest bulb for some arguments

And Collazo was battering Hatton all over as well. Why are you comparing Hatton to these huge southpaws? Aren't you a trainer :patsch:patsch

I am simply pointing out two fighters who exposed Berto for what he is, Collazo who is feather fisted, dropped rocked and beat the hell out of Berto, and Ortiz known quitter with no heart was able to out will out heart Berto...

Who has Andre Berto beaten? very simple question.... Hattons experience will prevail in this fight, Hatton will stand in there tie him up and bang the **** out of him to that body, and Hattons left hook to the body is no joke and I say it stops Andre Berto.

Why are we over rating Berto seriously? he has yet to beat anybody he has lost to two B level fighters already

None of that matters. This is a simple case of comparing styles head to head. Your maths doesn't work. Fighter A + fighter B beats fighter C is naive reasoning.
Secondly you talk about Hattons body work as though he was a prime Chavez. Ricky always looked great going to the body against D and C+ fighters. That soon changed when his competition went up. Bottom line is his body work is vastly overrated.

If Hatton does come back I think it has to be at 147 at this point. 140 would probably kill him.

Hatton should stay retired, he could get hurt badly.

I don't need to. You're the one that thinks that's justification for your mode of reasoning as you're obviously quite enamored by Rickys victory over KT.
But the last time i checked the thread title says Hatton vs Berto at 147. And THATS what i'm responding to. Styles make fights. You've given your reasons but frankly none of them wash.

And Collazo beat both IMO, so when you look at it, Ricky has the better resume out side of Collazo his record shits on Bertos, you dont have to agree with me I am not asking anybody to agree, but from what I see in both guys, Hatton IMO has a better chance of beating Berto than most of you think.

In their primes Hatton no doubt, Today some would say Berto due to hatton being knocked out by Manny and Mayweather, but Berto is neither... and yes Hatton has been hard on his body, but Berto has taken allot of shots himself to..

I just see it differently and just because you disagree with me that doesnt mean I am wrong, if the fight should get made thats when it will be decided not here on a forum
