Floyd did throw elbows he almost got some points taken away because of it. It was a few times that Floyd swung and instead of landing a punch he landed an elbow.
There's nothing wrong with Floyd getting down and dirty, **** thats Hattons game and he beat Hatton at his own game.

Cortez warned Floyds corner a couple of times and Roger responded by saying "what about all dat holdin Joe?"

Cortez was like "I gave you several warnings Floyd and i'm going to start taking points."

I concede, there were some elbows thrown. However, it seemed incidental, not purposeful. Regardless, Hatton was knocked out and completely outclassed. If people think Floyd's borderline tactics cost Ricky the fight, then they should have no problem with a rematch taking place.

Both of them threw elbows but at the end of the 10th Hatton was the only one being waived off. Hattons corner was the only corner throwing in the towel.

The ref, the judges, had nothing to do with it - there was only two people fighting.

Didn't any of you guys see Cortez stop the fight in the middle of the 2nd or
3rd and lecture the two fighters about fighting clean and being professional?

Yeah everybody knows that there was two against one in there, it was ridiculous. I have never seen a ref screw a fighter so bad. But honestly Ricky's camp has to take some of the blame on this. There has developed an idea in the press and among fans that Ricky's a dirty fighter or that he's "hook and hold" Ricky. And that some how he uses dirty tactics to slow the action down. This stigma had been developing for several years before this fight but it had reached a peak right before the Floyd fight. The fact is that Ricky Hatton fights no different then many former great fighters that used his style (i.e. Lemata and Marciano). Ricky's camp should never have allowed such a negative stigma to develop (true or otherwise) because you had to know that eventually refs were going to feel a lot of pressure to do something about it. And it happened where it was going to happen in the biggest highest pressure fight of his life. More then that, going into the fight, knowing that there is this huge stigma regarding Ricky, they should have been doing everything to counter it by a) seriously trying to down play the "hook and hold Hatton" thing and b) by making sure that everyone was aware of the fact that Floyd is a hit and hold guy too and uses many of the same tactics (something most boxing fans already knew going into the fight but the casuals were totally unaware of). Finally and most importantly they should have been going ape **** during the fight at the Ref. I couldn't believe that they didn't really complain too much. I frankly have lost a lot of respect for Billy Graham after that fight. Could you imagine if a Lou Duva was in Ricky's corner? He would have been in that ref's ear at the end of every round for as long as his fighter was in the fight. He would have protected his fighter from that kinda bull****.

Bro you must not know boxing or seen the fight for that matter. Its impossible for there to be two against 1. If that were the case Hatton shouldve had the decision upheld and protested it.

I don't remember Joe Cortez landing that check left hook that sent Hatton into the ring post.

cutting and pasting the fight..:good I love how they had the broadcasters complain about how many time's cortez said ricky's name. Oh and the ducking and dodging complaint... PBF should just stand there and get hit. Don't move your head at all. Who ever made this vid needs to stop lickin hattons nuts cuz they missed a great fight and probably caught herpes in the process.

:good Unfortunately there was too much class at the other end for hatton to win, the same may happen to cotto as well if he fights mayweather.
