About a month ago there was a thread here about Hatton V Cotto @ 140 and all the Hatton Sacks kept on blabing about how Hatton is a monster at 140 and would destroy Cotto. Well after watching yesterdays fight do you guys feel the same?

Cotto could never make 140 now. He looked like the living dead at the Malignaggi weigh in, and his performance wasn't great. Now it would be even harder, given he has grown into welterweight

So yes, it is very plausible Hatton could beat him at 140

Cotto would be so weight drained it would not be funny.

    Hatton TKO

at 147 Ricky would get destroyed in a brutal mannor.

i think Hatton underperformed this weekend, and will look better in his next fight if he can stay fit in between.

I disagree I see Cotto UD easily outboxing, outclassing, and simply outperforming Hatton.

I am 100% sure that Cotto put on a better show against Pauly than Hatton will.

I don't like Hatton but he has, and always did, a good chance at 140. At 147 there is only one winner.

Funny because even though Lazcano was being hit he really never stumbled and bearhugged in any way.

A tricky one. I always felt that when they were both on their way up they were being kept apart for a big showdown...maybe it could still happen at a catchweight?

But yes for Cotto to drop weight would be damaging for him whereas Hatton is too small to be effective at welter.

Its a shame that this never happened when Cotto could still relatively comfortably make 140, and Hatton was still an exciting young fighter. Maybe when Floyd has handed them both their ass they can get it on.
