the limited Miguel Torres was making Cotto look like a heavy bag with chin issues. Hatton would bring more pressure and Cottos shitty stamina would ruin any chaces nhe has.

    At 140, Cotto gets KO'd in 8.

Cotto has filled at 147 better and matured as a fighter, (still with suspect stamina). but he would prove a little to much at 147,

Its like people on here have not seen Cotto at 140, the guy was shite.

You only watched Cotto in the later stage of his 140lb days.

    Watch some boxing.

were you drunk when you typed this. If anythign, you can give it a 50/50 at 140, but at 147, Cotto murders this guy. Hatton got a controversial win versus Collazo. Do you really think he touches Cotto at 147.

At 140, it's only close b/c of Cotto's weight issues. But at 140, Cotto's skills are still enough to beat Hatton.

And you believe he would reclaim some of his lost form at that his previous weight now he has got used to 147?

I don't. I think 147 suits him better and he won't have got better at 140 now that it's been a while since he last fought at that weight.

    Exactly:good

The people who say Cotto was **** at 140 are people who only care to talk about his fight against Torres and Corley. They don't mention his destruction of Sosa, Maussa, or mention that he still Ko'd Torres.

He was better early on at 140 before weight became too hard to make. The only version I think Hatton could beat is the one that looked sick on the scales against Malignaggi.

You are 100% correct! In the last 1 or 2 Cotto was at 140, it was obvious he had outgrown that weight. But prior to that, Cotto was quite impressive. Even towards the end, it was good to see how Cotto handled being hurt b/c that showed his true character. People tend to forget that it's ok for a fighter to be hurt.

Cotto hasn't beat anyone at 140 that makes me think he could beat Hatton.

Hatton has beat someone better than Cotto at 140.

Name me one monster Hatton has fought at 140. Emmm, zilch. Hatton hasn't fought anyone in the league of Cotto apart from Mayweather at 147 obviously. Cotto eats up any of the opponents Hatton has fought at 140. Cotto is too strong and bullish for Hatton he would eat him man.

In the league of Cotto?? Tzsyu is perhaps the finest fighter at 140 EVER. You moron, Cotto is nowhere near possessing the skillset Tzsyu had at 140.

    Nice argument.... :think

Cotto hates pressure and would crumble.

didn't shane mosley apply pressure for twelve rounds, he didn't crumble then, and mosley is a far better pressure fighter than hatton. hatton just walks forward with his hands down waiting to be knocked out. mosley carries more speed and power than hatton and cotto still prevailed. and if your trying to use margarito as an example the you've failed again, cotto was boxing circles around margarito for the first 5-6 rounds, but then the plaster in the gloves took affect.
