You could be the best of a **** division though, theres holes in your argument also, because he never fought cotto at 140 and his still got to fight bradley, and to really **** you off HE NEVER FOUGHT WITTER:yep You probably did'nt like him, but his awkward, can bang, just no personality.. theres torres holt who would be tougher than the rent boy last night....
Hatton dominates the Ring no 1 contender in his division, drops just one round, makes them throw the towel in - and yet he gets great criticism for it... Healy you could have just posted "I have egg on my face", it would have made it less obvious.:yep
Hatton fights are painful to watch. I downloaded the HBO broadcast and Paulie was/is rank awful..Lampley summed it up when he stated Malignaggi's punch output was "pathetic".
I thought it was a decent fight, I won 500 vbucks betting Paulie wouldn't see the 12th (although, I think he could have) I don't think the card was PPV worthy but not many are these days. I think Hatton proved that at 140 he is still a little monster and when he could remember to move his head he looked good. I see people in the general forum giving Floyd alot of credit but IMO Ricky wasn't all that different last night, he still blocks alot of shots with his face. However I think that more time with Floyd can only help Ricky improve. I think Hatton Pac could be an interesting fight and would much rather see that than Hatton Oscar at "the" Wembley.
You think being the best in the world in a "**** division" for 4 years is easy? No matter who Hatton beat, and Paulie was generally regarded as the next best fighter at 140, they'll always be a "Bradley" or a "Holt" coming through the ranks that the haters will point to and ask why he's never fought them. Hattons just walked though his number 1 contender, sure the guy was overated, but lets give a little credit eh?
From haters like Healy?? Somehow I doubt it.:-( If he had improved 500%, people like him would always find a negative slant. Fans my arse.
Finally watched the fight, firstly I feel really sorry for Malignaggi, his corner should never have thrown the towel in on him. Whether he was going to lose every round and take a beating or not, Paulies whole pride in himself is based on his courage and that he is willing to fight anyone ... as he said, he didn't deserve to have a K.O. on his record but I don't buy into his comment that "Ricky only rocked him once in the 2nd Rd", he had him wobbled a number of times thru the fight. Good performance from Ricky, he didn't charge in, hit and hold for the most part and he looked more dominant against P.M. than Cotto did. Enough with the Maligfaggi bull**** too, just because you hate on Hatton, you don't need to stoop that low.
I hate his style and think he is a smug ****er also Im probably a hater by definition but dont care:bart
You should care about any mind set that stops you thinking objectively. Seriously, being utterly unable to separate reality from subjective reaction is something that will be a hindrance in any and all aspects of life. Your 6-3-1 scorecard is both pathetic and sad and is a clear sign of total bias. You're a good lad and in most things you have your head screwed on, but anyone who lets irrational or even rational hatred cloud their ability to rationalise will cause themselves undue problems in multiple situations. Quite simply, pull your head out of your arse if you think that it was 3 rounds Paulie and one equal going into the 11th.
Healy Healy Healy... Didnt I warn everyone on here that the fight was a PPV fiasco & that Hatton would win easily? I told everyone so, & yet you still bought this ****??? Damn, I know some here think I am a classic case, but at the end of the day I almost always call it spot on. & I called that fight spot on. I told everyone here that it was mismatch, & predicted there was no way Hatton could lose, apart from Floyd snr ****ing him up so bad that somehow Paulie would have landed the luckiest of punches, which was never going to happen. Asking paulie to land a powershot was like asking Saddam to pull out his WMD when Iraq was losing. It was never going to happen cos they dont exist. This fight was always just about selling a PPV, & using his name to sell SKY's next PPV, as if Hatton v DLH or Pac will ever happen Its all about the money... & all about SKY fleecing the public with false promises, which team Hatton is all part of. Its about time everyone woke up & inhaled the utterly oderous coffee that I have been making here. The coffee that has been lying in my cupboard for longer than it should have.
I realise you are laying bait but you definitely don't call it spot on, you are worse than Healy for the old 'blinkers' - at least Healy admits it. I'd love to see your pre-Arthur/Cook prediction, your post fight analysis was incredible enough. And the second sentence contradicts your whole 'money making' claim. Why in god's name would those fights not happen? They are the biggest money fights around. And Hatton is one of those elite money-spinning fighters.
