As much as I dislike Warren he's spot on about this potential fight coming up in the spring.

He suggests that Hatton is endangering himself and just using this as another money making exercise as Joe public will be fooled into thinking Ricky is back to his best when most people with a bit of knowledge know that he is finished at this level and will get beaten again whilst making a nice lump of cash in the process.

Is he right here? Let's face it Hatton doesn't act like a professional so why should he be treated like one?

I think Hatton believes he will win.

I dont think he appreciates the damage to himself, for him eating **** and drinking genuinely is 'rechargin meh batteries'.

You'd think that Hatton would have learned to not underestimate his opponents after the Pac decimation, but I feel that's exactly what he'll be doing if he takes this fight.

Yes we know all this but the Hatton fans are deluded. They think Ricky is a great fighter who only needs to make a few adjustments and Marquez will be beaten with ease, the same morons all thought Ricky was too big and powerful for Pacquiao.

They go on about how Ricky has only been beaten by great prime fighters but forget he only ever fought two great prime fighters was outclassed and knocked out by both.

Hatton fans are a selfish bunch, they dont care about Rickys future health being at serious risk by going in with a man who will destroy him because they want to sing "theres only one Ricky Hatton" thousands of times while their hero gets outclassed and knocked out again.

    I am a Hatton fan.

    1. I picked Mayweather to win against Hatton.
    2. I picked Pacquiao to stop Hatton.
    3. I want him to retire.
    4. I pick Marquez to beat Hatton if the fight is to be made.
    5. I don't want to sing "there's only one Ricky Hatton".

But yeah, I think you really know what Hatton's fans think :good

ZFC is a delusional fool! All you ever here from his is completely false and made up claims that Hatton fans think he's some kind of all time great, just so he can have a pop and claim that he's overrated. Most Hatton fans will tell you he's simply a very good fighter of his era who has been a legit champ for a few years and beaten a number of good fighters. Simple.

I agree with all of that:good. As a Hatton fan, I want him to call it a day - not out of disliking him. A fair few casuals want him to retire as well. Let's face it, he's had an awesome career for a Brit and it would be a shame to see him continue to lose and lose in devastating fashion. Hatton has a hell of a lot more to offer the sport outside of the ring as well, IMO. If and when the JMM fight is made, I shall quickly abandon my status as a Hatton fan for the night, though - I might also risk the wrath of the Hatton football fans:yep:lol:.

I'm not sure how this one goes? I'm not sure how good Hatton or Marquez is anymore to be honest? Where Hatton would go after this I don't know?

The Hatton of the Malignaggi would beat Marquez.

Hatton has been pissed up a lot lately, no doubt though.

Yea, it's a nice win for his record...

...but where does he go after this? No point rematching Mayweather or Pac, they'll beat him worse than before.

    Cotto at a catchweight?

Marquez will satop Ricky I have no doubt, He's a master counter puncher and Ricky will play right into his hands!! It'll get stopped by cuts or with a ref jumping in!!
