Buys or dollars?. I am assuming you haven't completely lost it and mean dollars, that equates to approx 550k buys. When Pac fought Diaz he did 250k, by my calculation that means that either 300,000 people saw the JMM fight and didn't fancy lashing out watching Pac again, or the 300,000 were JMM fans. 250k core support (I am assuming that no one bought to see Diaz) for the Pinoy in the states isn't an awful lot, and certainly no great bargaining chip.

Pacquiao has wins over Marquez on paper, regardless of what you and I thought of the scoring. The real world wins are all that counts in the world of business, hate to break it to you :hey

Whereas Hatton really did meet the ringpost, in that embarrasing shocking display. It wasn't just a bad nightmare for you Hatton loons :bbb

    Fighters lose, get over it.

If you're going to lose once, then it being against the P4P#1 is about as acceptable of a loss as you're going to get.

It can't be used as a bargaining tool against Hatton and I expect you know this.

Pac is ducking the mighty Hatton and you can't cope :D

    You are a business clown.

Pacquiao's fans pay up against a good opponent. That was shown in the De La Hoya demographics, and against Marquez. They aren't all blinkered drunkards like Hatton's, they pay to see real fights only. No bums.

I don't think most of us consider a Hatton a bum, so its fair to see Pacquiao will pull in the punters too. Like I keep saying, its a PAIR that does biggest numbers. You can't just account for figures in such a basic way and award them to one fighter. Hatton ain't doing the huge numbers without somebody like Mayweather, or Pac.

This is basically how I feel on the issue. Hatton's a big draw and Pac makes more money fighting him than he does fighting Mayweather, so he should agree to a 50-50 split.

It sounds to me like Bob Arum is being sensible and asking for the 50-50, whereas Pac is trying to be a bit of a **** and negotiating hard. Maybe Pac has heard something from Mayweather that makes him think he stands a chance at Mayweather fight, so he's keeping his options open by not finalizing the Hatton fight.

Staus again :-( **** status, the only man that Hatton is bothered about beating over and above anyone else is Mayweather, and thats not going to happen. Hatton could fight Bradley at the City of Manchester, go UK PPV, slip Timbo 10%, and make just as much money as he would by going 60/40 with Pac.

I'll remind you of that next time you bring up the Collazo fight.

TFFP, you need to stop going on the GF if this is what it does to your posting style.

I said right from the get go that this fight wouldn't happen :deal, too much risk for Pacmans ambitions. Hatton should **** off the greedy little **** and offer out JMM.

    I hope you are right.

That would be a much better, and more competitive fight. We all know deep down Pac will beat Hatton down, and without one of his refs to give him a break he will suffer.

Pacquiao/Mayweather is an interesting fight. I get the impression from Roach's interviews they are not that bothered about Hatton, they don't think he's that meaningful. I heard they are talking to other parties, so maybe he feels in a position to bargain hard. He doesn't mind losing Hatton, but if Hatton's willing to give up 60% he'll take it. Smart business :rasta

And as was pointed out earlier if it was Hatton playing this game , it would not be smart business, it would be a monumental duck >>>>>>>

Total and utter bollocks. We all know Hatton ducks only when he could end up with egg on his face. When he's got ready made excuses "Pac's an ATG etc etc, no shame in losing blah blah" then there's no problem.
