There was a thread on the GF saying Arum is backing a 50/50 split but with no link or source.

 

Ah, here we go...it looks like Arum AND ROACH (so much for Freddie not wanting the Hatton fight) are being sensible about this.

Basically Arum said that they had initially talked about a 60-40 Pac split, but with both keeping their respective country's TV money. At which point a Pac representative queried the UK TV money - upon which a total 50-50 split was agreed between all parties.

Now it seems someone on Pac's team feels a total 60-40 split is fairer.

 

Hopefully Roach has Pacs ear and get put a bit of weight behind the fight. He seems to have a realistic handle on the situation.

 

How much is this fight expected to make?

 

Looks like the fight is back on with a 50/50 split, so much for all the "theories" voiced in this thread about why Pac and Roach will demand and deserve the 60/40 split.

Turns out that Pacs people didn't realize how much Mayweather missed out on when he took the 70/30 and gave Hatton the UK PPV money. A simple misunderstanding.

Sounds like all the insiders on the deal and Pacs team think that 50/50 of all revenue is fair to both boxers after all.:good Maybe they could talk some sense into a few of the posters in this thread....
