    Mitchell, Judah, Corley, Gatti, Mayweather, Ward, Cotto, Harris, N'dou, Witter, Leija

    All in the top ten when Hatton was around the top 5. Never fought one. Hatton entered the Ring top 10 in early 2003. In the whole of 2003,2004 and 2005 the only recognised Top 10 fighter he fought was Tsyzu. Warren gifted him the fight and protected him afterwards.

    Cannot be argued with FACTS !

    Im not trying to create an argument but your thread says Hatton v Witter....

    So its not about Hattons career, and if your using Witter as a stick to beat Hatton with then you need a new stick.

    And if you start a thread with the intention on switching it to a hate/knocking thread then thats wrong....real wrong....:nono

    Could be argued that Tszyu just let Hatton win

    Maybe he just retired on his stool - and go into retirment with a big bonus

    tsyzu didnt really do much in the fight

    he gave in to the script and just let Hatton win - quitting on his stool

    of course Hatton forced him to retire on his stool

    what I mean is - I dont think Tsyzu's heart was really in the fight

    He knew he was retiring after the fight

    I know deep down you dont mean that.....

    A guy lets another guy win his titles therefore taking his primary livelyhood away....come on man.....

    Oh come on man

    Its not like Tsyzu was having problems paying his rent

    That was his retirement purse right there - £2.5 million

    His boxing career came to a end there - he had earned his money

    He didnt want a tough fight - he didnt want to dig deep

    He retired straight after

    That leaves a question mark over Hattons greatest win

    That Tsyzu didnt go on to achieve anything after Hatton

    The fight was a hard fought tough fight.

    Yes Tszyu quit but he quit after giving it his all, and on this night Hatton was simply better....and Tszyu is my favourite fighter of all time.

    To say Tszyu came to not win is quit literally sad and i cant for the life of me see how anyone can take this win for Hatton away from him.

    Tszyu came to win

    But then at some point in the fight realised he was in a tough fight and didtn want to dig deep down

    Tsyzu once said - he was willing to die in a fight - that was what having a heart of a true cahmpion was

    But he said in the Hatton fight - he was not prepared to die

    He told that to Michael Kastidas

    Thats the difference

    He said the spark was not there in the Hatton fight

    The will to win - the fire - had died

    He didnt have the heart for it

    No because after he fought Tszyu he fought the guy who beat Harris...Maussa who was ranked in the top 10.

    He then fought a top 10 welter and well i cant be arsed staing the obvious.

    If you cannot argue with facts what top 10 fighters have Junior Witter beaten outside of Ndou who also lost twice to the man who Hatton beat.

    Tell you what, I was ****ing high as a kite that evening in December 2007, in fairness

    ****ing sure Hatton fought Mayweather though


    By the way - if you mean he didn't fight them at 140, how many of those guys did Floyd fight at 140? One?

    Cotto fought one too I think.


    Oh - you missed off the top guy in the division too - Hatton fought him. And won.


    And the Warren thing - 'protected him afterwards'? He never fought for Warren again.

    This fight would be a friggin hugfest. They miseawell cut their losses and make it a WWE matchup when the WWE next comes to the UK

    This fight was a last pay cheque for him

    He didnt want to get hurt - he want to retire safe with his family

    He told Michael Kasitidis - the diffrence between all his fights and the Hatton fight was

    He was not prepared to die in the Hatton fight
