A tired excuse of Hatton fans is that Witter can't sell tickets. Just heard a lame ass excuse along these lines in another thread.

I wonder how many fans Juan Lacazno is bringing over. Or how many tickets the tomato cans and old men Hatton has padded his record with sold.

How many fans Witter has is irrelevant, the top two 140lbs fighters in the world battling it out for world and domestic #1 status would sell out quickly.

The O2, Manchester City's Stadium - wherever it was held I'm of the opinion it would sell out quickly.

    What do you think?

Definitely a big crowd In Britain and the only fight worth paying for to see Hatton. Hatton knows he gets sparked.

It would be a sell out due to Hattons fans:D

I think it would be an easier than everyone expects victory for Hatton:yep

It would sell out, obviously, if Lazcano - Hatton does

HBO would also likely take it. They were interested in Witter-Lazcano in the US when that was mooted, so I don't see why they wouldn't take this

It would sell 55,000 to 60,000 tickets in manchester and probably the same if in wembley. None of that because of Witter! Hatton can sell that for Lazcano so it's easy to see why Witter wants the fight.

It's also easy to see why the fight fans want it. #1 and 2 light welters in the world, living about 50 miles apart. It's a ****ing farce, and Hatton is to blame

Hatton has no legitimate reason not to fight witter. forget what witter said about him, its called trash talk and you wouldn't think a man who fights other men for a living would be so sensitive to what witter said. And witter's mouth isnt even close to mayweather who hatton fought quite willingly.

I think this fight will happen eventually though. I'm sure its mind ****ing to go undefeated after so many fights then get beat pretty easily and embarrassed the way he did into the turnbuckle even if it was against the P4P best. People have to realize Lazcano is a tune up fight. A tune-up fight...I don't see too many people jumping on Pavlik for fighting Lockett, then after he wipes the floor with him probably taking on Rubio next. But the thing is Hatton doesn't need Witter, but Witter needs Hatton. And personally, I don't think Witter's done enough to get a shot, but I agree it's a fight I want to see and I think it will eventually happen. If it doesn't, even though I'm a big Hatton fan, i'll certainly lose some respect for him.

Hatton seems to be able to sell 50-60 K tickets by himself, so it might just shatter all records.
