Still see that Witter's calling out :bart Hatton. Personally, (if Hatton wins big in his next fgt) he should get it on with Witter regardless of the purse offers otherwise he will be plagued with Witter calling him a fraud even after he retires. Look back on our domestic scene we've had Minter V Finnigan, Stracy V Green, Laing V Jones, Ben V Eubanks and recently Haye V Mac to name but a few so come on Hatton go for it.:yep

He didn't call him out though did he? He said the fight was agreed with the promoters and Hatton himself pulled out on the deal.

Dunno if there is any truth to it.

I doubt that Hatton cares about that considering Witter is almost a total unknown in his own hometown.

Realistically Ricky is 140 King and its clear Witter kis the lead Challenge. Its the best fight at 140 right now. Its far more reasonable than a Floyd rematch.

Stylistically? Witter presents problems. Could Hatton have learned enough vs Mayweather to adjust? Possibly but Witter's a true switch-hitter. It has intrigue.

It should happen while PBF fights Cotto and Ricky can get a shot at the winner. Proving he's STILL 140 Champ would justify it.

Witter will present some problems for Hatton, how he is unorthodox.

What people choose to forget is the stylistic problems Hatton will pose Witter, his foot speed, strength and stamina, he wont let Witter rest for 1 second and Witters stamina is pretty ****. Also whilst Witter hits pretty hard Hatton has been in with bigger punchers and his chin has been reliable.

Witter can't fight on the inside like Mayweather can.

He hasn't got the dirty streak that Mayweather has.

He hasn't got the ring smarts that Mayweather has.

He hasn't got the fitness and stamina that Mayweather has.

Witter won't be able to do what Mayweather did.

If Hatton comes through Lazcano and the propossed Mallinaggi fights and Witter still has his WBC belt then there really is no more excuses. These two should get it on early next year. Would be a cracking fight. I always favoured Hatton but after the Mayweather loss and Witters recent form im not so sure. Will be interesting to see how Hatton responds from his first loss.

Im glad somebody is talking sense. Witter fights nothing like Mayweather does, granted he is unorthodox but thats about it.

Prior to beating a never has been in Harris he struggled with Lynes,Kotelnik and Ndou, he set up a **** first defence against Morua to look good and once again failed to deliver.

Witter desont fight on the outside no, Mayweather doesnt hardly either, proving a point that he could beat Ricky Hatton at his own game. Mayweather's inside work was pretty messy if you ask me, but still enough to beat Hatton.

There is more to inside fighting than hugging.
