Hatton is saying that he would make the fight with A. Khan sometime next year..I guess Hatton is trying to feed on smaller guys before he retires. There has been talks of lightweights coming up to face Hatton. I guess he is not really interested in figthing at WW or light welter. Im still not 100% sure that he gets by PM. I thimk PM is a live dog in that fight.

What happened with Pac vs Hatton in 2009?

Hatton said it in an interview to news of the world and Amir Khan has mentioned it to sky sports. It could happen and i wouldnt expect Khan to be much smaller than Hatton. Khan is a very big lightweight and by then theres even a chance he could be bigger than Hatton at light welter.

Why not? If Hatton hasn't declined too much he should derail this hype-train early and brutally :deal

I'm getting the feeling that Hatton's heart isn't into boxing too much at the moment...

I could be wrong, but - with the loss to FMJ, the relatively ordinary performance against Lazcanzo, ditching his long time trainer and opting for Floyd Mayweather Sr. (of all people, with HIS style :blood ), and now attempting to become a trainer/manager/promoter.

Add in the fact that nearly all possible future opponents seem to be smaller men, such as Pac and Khan, and the math just doesn't look to good.

    In june 2009

    the way things are going
Amir Khan is going to have about 4 more bums on his resume, while Hatton will have another defeat by Paulie, and Witter will be calling him out again.

reasonably, Amir Khan still 21 should be better in the future, Rubio is looking decent from one of his training vids, he shud first earn a respectable position in the 135 category then move up to face Hatton and wont acheive tht against tht columbian

The columbian is a good start though, hes the first real puncher he's faced. What i dont get is people say Khan is ovverated and wont amount to anything yet on the other hand they critise the quaility of opposition. So guys who are **** boxers should be facing the best? :huh

At the end of the day Khan is improving and theres no need to rush things, look at his age. When Khan is ready to fight better opposition he will.

135 is doing great. Hatton is going to use that.

Well, Khan would have to improve significantly, while hatton would have slip quite a lot. By all reports Hattons weight has ballooned again, so it doesn't look like he's ever going to take his physical conditioning seriously. Maybe he'll decline rapidly this year, who knows. I'd love to see him maul Khan though :deal

Is Hatton scared to face Pacquiao after Malignaggi? Seems like it is.Theres a couple of reasons why he thinks of taking this fight with Khan. Its because Khan is an emerging talent but mainly because he hasn`t dissed him like Witter did and he thinks he`ll be easier to beat.
