OK, let me start by saying in no way I think Castillo would had won that fight but in recent years I have never seen such BS calls from a referee, clearly it was not normal, those shots were all on the belts, perfect body shots, all of those shots were warned for low blowing while in fact there was none of those that were LOW,

I just rewatched it tonight, I knew the first time I watched it that they were suspicious calls but after rewatching it and going slow motion, they were clearly more then suspicious calls. That clearly pissed me off

I knew they were not. Hatton is soft in the belly as Urango proved. He got hurt by those shots. The first was above the belt. Even castillo who is not a big complainer raised his hands like what the ****. The corner said the same thing. Those were totally clean shots. That **** made me mad. However, he will get that belly tested again come November. We will see.

I wont be surprised in the Mayweather fight this December, the first punch Hatton throws will be a hard intentional low blow, to get the crowd rowdy and send a message to Floyd.

"Low" doesnt mean on the balls...it means past the line the reff pointed out just before the fight starts. they were low, but only by a bit..which still means they are deemed low. The lowest part Castillo was allowed to hit was the top belt line...a couple of this bodyshots were just below that. Not terrible low blows, but low blows nonetheless.

Castillo is warned twice in the fight before the point was deducted and the blows were low. I'm just glad the ref was Joe Cortez and not a UK ref as this kind of accusation would grow legs and start to run.

Look at Castillo's back catalogue, especially v Corrales, the guy loves to hit below the belt line!

Didnt you listen to the interview after the fight? Hatton said he had seen in the past JLC hit low often, so he wanted to get the ref on his back early on to stop him doing it for all of the fight. It was a smart tactic, like it or not.

THE REF SAID THE BELTLINE WAS OKAY BECAUSE HATTONS BELT WAS HIGH.

Hatton was always gonna win this fight but one thing I've noticed is he's a little weak around the belly area. When he gets hit there he looks to the ref for help like in this fight and against Tszyu. Tszyu actually dropped him with a perfectly legal body shot that the crooked ref called low.

It was borderline, maybe a tad low.

Joe Cortez has been past his prime for about as long as Evander Holyfield.
