Hatton will win it by a UD, I think we'll see Hatton's first inspired performance since Tszyu. It seems Ricky's lifestyle, weight fluctuation, and complacency impacted his last 3 fights, he looked lethargic for the first part of Maussa, against Collazo for a lot of the fight, and against Urango particularly after he built up a heavy lead early on. I'm hoping Ricky got himself in top shape and will revert to his whirlwind form combining relentless pressure and bodywork and wearing Castillo down. I'm expecting Hatton to come in tip top shape and give an inspired performance. And if he does, I don't know if Castillo at this stage can keep pace with him. JLC has been in a lot of wars and isn't getting any young, I don't see him being able to keep pace if Hatton is back in form. I think it'll be close in the first half, with a few scary moments for Hatton
but in the end Hatton will pull away in the second half of the fight by just wearing Castillo down like he did to Tszyu

I am not sure this is right. I have watched plenty of Hatton's fights and have seen no evidence of it except in the Urango fight, where he hit him with a mean body shot in the sixth or seventh round. The fact that he has been hurt once doesn't mean he doesn't take body shots well.

My prediction is a late TKO in Hatton's favour (maybe 10th round). He is too strong and fast for Castillo to cope with.

You know that's a good point, I think I might be leaning towards Hatton now.....your post makes good sense. :think

I still think Castillo is a scary character and the fight may go either way. What's great about this fight is that both me might see Cotto after this one, or Kendal Holt/Paul Malanaggi any of those scenerios would make an entertianing fight which is obviously theeee most important factor of all.

Hatton will win an ugly decision over an aging and declining Castillo (who hasn't looked good in fights against MUCH lesser opponents) which will then be announced as one of the greatest victories in boxing history by British boxing fans.

Hatton has underrated punching accuracy and castillo is there to be hit, plus hatton wont engage on the inside, because he knows that's castillo's strength.Hatton will hit castillo from all angles and make it look like target practice and i see castillo hitting the canvas for the first time in this fight,u will see hatton destroy and punish castillo by tko within 7-12 rounds.

British greatest boxing victories? Nothing will ever beat Lloyd Honeyghan going to America and thrashing p-4-p world number one, Don Curry from the USA, beating him up so bad, Curry quit on his stool:happy :D
