Cotto. I don't see Hatton making it too hard for Cotto

At 147 Hatton struggled with Collazo.

Hatton would be eating the jab all night. Cotto too skilled for Ricky.

I expect Cotto to stop Hatton in 8-9 rounds.

hatton wins at 140. i don't believe he could every be prime at 147.
what made him good was his ability to be much bigger and stronger than everyone at140 and being able to bully people.

Hatton KO's cotto at 140. Cotto tires and is worn down in the second half of the fight and hets ko'd.

Cotto would ko hatton at 147 though.

Cotto would brutalize Hatton's British Glass. Hatton was never an elite fighter, just a tough guy who could take a few shots, use boring rough house tactics, low blow when in the wheel house, etc. Cotto, while limited, actually has good pop in his left, a decent jab, and he moves far better than Glass Jaw Ricky. Cotto KO3 Hatton.

Hatton 140. Cotto was struggling to make weight at 140 and Hatton was a beast in 140. Cotto doesnt like to be pressured and Hatton's forte is to pressure and wrestle his opponents. Cotto struggling to make weight at 140 also makes him more vurnerable to Hatton's body punches. Hatton TKO10 Cotto.

Cotto 147. Cotto is comfortable fighting at 147, while Hatton is sloppy at this weight. Hatton may try to outwrestle Cotto but due to Hatton's sloppy movements, Cotto outmaneuvers Hatton to UD.

Hatton at 140 where Cotto was a little chinny and Cotto at 147.

Remember Cotto outboxed the bigger Margarito for most of the fight. I think he could do the same to Hatton.

Cotto also beat a still decent Mosely who hit harder than Hatton.

But what a frigging fight. Why did this fight never happen?

140 Hatton and @ 147 Cotto and they would be epic fights at both weights with the winner coming out on points. People are talking about KO's and ****, but the thread question also mentioned PRIME! The reason i picked Hatton @ 140 is pretty simple, he dominated the division in his prime and Cotto @ 147 was pretty simple as Hatton did not carry his form up to Welter.

Cotto probably ko's him almost as easily as pbf and pac did.

Hatton no where close to even Cotto. That's why he retired when he did. He knew he was not really as good as the top tier fighters.

He had well over 40 fights and his style meant he got hit alot throughout his whole career and one of the first things to go is punch resistance and the thread question was PRIME dude!!!

Funny how underrated Hatton is over here. As long as a fighter loses, he instantly loses to anyone in any fantasy match-up. :patsch

At 140 it would be a 50/50 fight. I would pick Hatton to beat Cotto at 140.

At 147, Cotto beats Hatton. Hatton won't have the size to keep the aggression going, though if he's able to, it would be a 50/50 fight too.

    Hatton is not a joke.

At 147 I'd say Cotto but at 140 I'd say Hatton. And Hatton has a shot at 147 but it's questionable if he would be big enough to hurt Cotto. If he could hurt Cotto he wins easy due to his style.
