    If they both win their upcomeing fights aganst Mayweather and Mosley.
    They probbly have the bigest fan bases in the sport. This could sell-out a football (eaither kind) stadum.
    It would be the boxing event of 2008.

    It would be a great fight but Cotto would win by brutal KO.

    wow scar, you just impressed/proved me wrong, you can be unbiased... even though hatton is fighting PBF soon... I would have though u would rag on Hatton but I was wrong...

    I wish this could happen. It would be a barnburner. They have some tough tasks ahead of them 1st and counting neither of them out. If Hatton could cut the ring off and be tenaciously fast with debilitating body punches, then we'll see. I think Cotto is gonna win anyway.

    i will have togo with hatton on this one he'll be to close to cotto for cotto to get max power just like he did tyszu.


    how about this even if they both lose they still fight each other or the loser fight the loser of both bouts and the winners fight the winners

    I love Ricky Hatton, but the guy was wary of Juan Urango ffs. Hatton is a brave fearless mother ****er but he is just not big enjough to damage Cotto.

    urango hurt hatton with a bodyshot, and are we all forgeting hatton is too small for welterweight, last time he was up there he struggled.

    Hatton is just a bit too small for welter. He'll do ok against the boxer types who will not swarm him with strength though.

    Great fight, Hatton would hang tough, but at 147 Cotto is too strong.
