It's fairly obvious that this a 147 tune up prior to a fight with Cotto in the summer

 

This fight isnt happening, its just people at boxrec jumping to wrong conclusions.

On your own there mate- whats the point in even getting into shape for a pointless fight that means nothing. The guy is unheard of and presents so little threat its pretty hard to see how Hatton could get motivated for it- which in itself presents a problem for an agressive fighter like Hatton. Hows he going to make the weight? I agree Calzaghe-Manfredo was a waste of time but at least that fight had the contender angle- this fight is pointless on so many levels. I'm a big Hatton fan and for that reason I don't want him to waste his time with this guy.

 

Perhaps boxrec have got this mixed up with Ricky's brother Mathew Hatton - I recall him being linked with Hlatswayo around the time of the Mayweather fight.
