Hatton vs Hlatswayo 24/5/08 according to boxrec

It doesn't mean nothing, it's a comeback fight after Hatton's fight loss. Calzaghe has been having fights that mean nothing his whole career.
Manfredo, Evans, Veit twice, Salem, Mkrtchian, Pudwill, Jimenez, McIntyre... and these were defences of his world title, he was supposed to be the best super middleweight in the world. He didn't go after the best fights ever. They all had to come and get him.
Hatton fights two of the best p4p back to back, and now because he's maybe fighting a top ten rated guy as his comeback... "i hope he gets knocked out"... nearly all of you are beyond belief.
Hatton has done everything he could've done in the last 3 years to get the biggest fight he could, and he did that. He gave British boxing the biggest event it's maybe ever had... and now he can do no right???
Give him a break. Hatton is everything that is good about boxing. And one comeback fight isn't going to change that.

I'm not comparing Hatton to Calzaghe you are... I'm a Hatton fan and for me he is wasting time and effort on this guy... Tell me how this match benefits Hatton in any way bearing in mind he's a multi millionaire and already considered the best fighter in his division. At least put him in with a name instead we get someone who would be a more suitable opponent for Kevin Mitchell.

If you're on Hatton for his opposition, you've got to be on every other fighter we've got. Because Hatton has done more than anyone else to get the biggest fight he could.

Think we should have an ESB coming out ceremony in your honour if this fight is made official.

 

I want and expect more from Hatton because he is Britains premier fighter. How would you have felt if after the Tyson fight Lewis had have fought Ross Purity? or Alfred Cole? I'd even say they would have been better matches.
