gatton is far too good a fighter to get ko'd on a pac PBF undercard...he would nuch rather get ko'd making another 5 mil in england
other than in England, I don't think Hatton could headline a card. JMM would be the bigger, and rightfully so, draw here. I personally never gave Hatton much credit. It was his fan base that got him as far as it did, not his weak boxing skills. He sells tickets better than he boxes. He should stay retired before he ends up with some life long disability.
I'm a brother so i know what u mean, but i'm cool with puerto ricans, mexicans, haitians and my lil brothers a haitian american, because his pops is from haiti and moved here and speaks like 6 diff languages fluently and knows voodoo so becareful lol.I'm thinking they should put antonio margarito vs sergio martinez rematch on the mayweather vs pacquiao undercard.
No because Pacman fight has to be in Las Vegas so the Philippinos have a place to gamble. Ricky Hatton has to have it in the UK so his base of fans will travel in the future. Las Vegas loves the Philippinos because they gamble like drunk sailors--- The Brits do not gamble and drink like drunk sailors. The Brits need Hatton to win at home again as he has a lot of doubters in his ability and they would not travel to see another defeat.
Even Roberto Duran had to have a few tuneups and didn't fight on a major undercard until 2 years after the Hearns fight. Why is Hatton not required to prove he is still viable? His promoters and anyone who cares about him should put him in against someone relatively ok to see if he is still any good. Chances are he will win like most good fighters do, but at least that gives him a chance to improve and get his confidence back. Rushing him to fight Marquez just because they are two names is not a good decision.
