i wish hatton hadn't spent the last year as a fat ******* getting more and more unfit, or this would of been as great fight in his prime. Both fighters are great on the inside and on the offensive it would of been a mint toe to toe war. im a hatton fan i would love to see him back to his old self but his confidence will be shot and his out of training lifestyle has got to be catching up withhim now. He should stay out of the ring before he ends up with pointless losses added to his resume. And i dont want to see khan having hattons name under his belt which is what will happen if he makes a come back..
khan is going to b the new golden boy when pac and may retire the guy will be feeding on more washed up named fighters than any1 in history over the next two years i can see him fighting next two years juan manuel marquez erik morales next three years cotto antonio margareito
I think if Hatton had kept himself in better shape through his inactivity he wouldn't be getting so written off as he is currently. He needs to cut out the pints of Guinness if he wants to fight in to his thirties.
I'm starting to get the feeling that Hatton's next fight is like a Prince Hamad comeback over past years; gets mentioned a fair bit, but the longer away (and the fatter he looks) the less you're starting to believe it.
I think youve misconstrued my post. The point Im making, is that Ricky is not as shot as most people are proclaiming. Its odd to suggest a fighter can be sharp and rejuvenated in one fight, but then be completely past-prime the in the next one. We didnt get to truly see what Hatton had in him, simple because the exceptional Pacquaio was on fire, and killed him off before he had the chance to get going.
do you know why it lasted that quick? roach exploited hattons flaws and pacquiao made it clear. its not like hatton is a bum.
