On May 22 in Manchester, England Hatton will fight a 12 round main event against an opponent TBA. On the undercard supposedly Malignaggi will defend his title against Lovemore N'Dou in a rematch. If both fighters win it sets up a bout between Hatton and Malignaggi later this year (probably at Madison Square Garden). This is just what I've heard and nothing is positive yet. If anyone has any further information or comments please post in this thread.

yeah itll happen. Hatton will beat someone, then PM will beat Ndou and then well have this all too predictable match up, sold to us on ppv.

Im not too bothered about Malignaggi, he has talent, but what puts him above all the other belt holders apart from his passport?!

id take three Hatton fights ahead of Paulie...Witter is a better fight, Torres is a better fight as is Diaz the lightweight champ!

Hope it's true and when Hatton has KTFO of Malinaggi he can shut Witter the **** up, aswell.

how about hatton fights Torres, Witter fight Malignaggi then the winners fight each other...?!!!

    but no, we get Hatton-Lazcano, Malignaggi-Ndou 2, then Hatton - Malignaggi...exciting...:-((

Hatton v Torres would be a great fight to watch. However the above sounds more realistic.

I would love to see Hatton try to shut Witter the **** up, but it's not happening anytime soon - because of Hatton. Spin it whichever way you want but Witter would fight Hatton at the drop of a hat and has been chasing him for years. Hatton is the one that doesn't want this fight for one reason or another.

I suspect Hatton would beat Malignaggi though.

Hatton will duck Witter through 2008. But I think in 2009 Witter will become unavoidable and Hatton will have to fight him.

Paulie's got a lot of potential but he's still young. I'll go out on a limb and say that if Paulie can run and jab then he has a great chance against Hatton, who really has no jab. If Paulie can stay off the ropes and can run around the ring and keep turning Hatton then I think he can win UD.

Malignaggi what a **** fight, doing a Warren with Khan and fighting non punchers! Torres I personally think stops Hatton but Hatton will annhilate Witter, he shoudl fight Witter now while it gets loads of press coverage easily in the build up.

I respect your opinion, but i wouldn't dare venture out on that limb with you. Mali is a paper champ. Sure he is quick but I believe hatton will cut the ring off and destroy this guy. Paulie has no KO power.. His punches tickle more than they inflict pain. The 5 KO's on his record speak volumes for a titlist.

I don't know what you mean by that I'm normally confident in my predictions - see my posts before the Hatton - Mayweather fight I predicted Mayweather by KO in 8-10 rounds and won a fortune betting on it :yep

Until recently I thought Malignaggi would be a hard fight for Hatton but after watching Hatton V Mayweather and Malignaggis last fight I'm not so sure, at this moment in time I think Hatton probably wins a UD, but it wouldn't be a shut-out.
