You say Hatton is very overated :huh

If anything i would say he is underated and it is Malignaggi who is overated.

You then go on to say Hatton struggled against Lazcarno who is a few levels below Paulie:huh

Well no offence but Malignaggi since getting spanked by Cotto, has beaten Ndou convincingly, got a gift decision against Ngoudjo and struggled with Ndou. The latter two of the fighters are several levels below Hatton.

Again you say Paulies speed will be the difference, well for all the people who say Paulie has excellent speed and defence well why was Herman and Ndou landing regularly?

Malignaggi is the unproven fighter in this fight and it could be his coming out party but i dont think it will be his night.

 

finally some knowledge....malignaggi settles in and dominates down the stretch and everyone says hatton was a bum anyway tomorrow and he should reitre so magic gets no credit

 

he gets hit because he is not a runner...he stands in front of his an and outquicks hi...he beat ndou and njou....his defense is ok his speed and boxing ability is pure....and he is proven he has defended his title 4 times and has fought 10 rds with a broken jaw against cotto

i've heard people say the same about the urango fight as well, when all the judges scored it 11 rounds to 1.

 

He has defended the title TWICE.

Both fight were close, and if his speed is so good that Hatton is not going to get close or hit him then why..oh..why where two fighter who are not as quick, skilled, proven, as powerful as Hatton landing on Paulie?

Get off his nuts, and whilst he may not be a runner he backs up in straight lines and he is defensivly flawed...as is Hatton.

 

Hatton fans telling anyone to get off someones nuts is quite amusing. I don't think anyone has nuthugged Paulie in this thread at all, just a few people saying you can't only look at Paulie struggling against Ndou last time out, because Ricky looked quite rough himself, on the very same night. It's not a one-way street, mate, it goes both ways.

Paulie certainly did perform poorly in his last two fights, Ricky's looked bad in three of his last four. That's what makes it such a crapshoot in my book, as no one knows if we'll be getting the best or worst versions of either tonight. If Ricky's firing on all cylinders and is getting to Paulie, and Paulie hurts his hand or is not at his best, Ricky will walk all over him. If Paulie is very sharp while Ricky isn't his best, Ricky is in for a long and frustrating night.

I have a feeling that Malignaggi is going to win this fight, but hey, no problems admitting it if I'm wrong. Hope it's a good fight!

are you kidding me!! hatton is overrated! paulie's got a tough chin and doesnt' wear out late like hatton.paulie ud is what i'm going with,hatton has only faced one pure boxer in his career and he got ktfo.

 

Hatton is being underrated based on his showing vs Mayweather.

I dont see Hatton vs Malignaggi as being nothing but a one way beatdown in favor of Hatton.

I dont think the fight will last the distance.....in the process, Malignaggi is going to get brutalized!
