Hatton vs Marquez?

Hatton's strength is overated.We heard the same before the Floyd fight.Ever since Hatton stopped fighting pumpkins and watermelons at the MEN arena he hasnt really showed the so called strength.He only paid Castillo to dive and wince as if he was in pain when in fact he was diving.

 

That would be a very interesting fight.

 

Dont compare floyd to marquez. And how do you know castillo wasnt in actual pain? Like you've ever been hit with a left hook to the liver.

 

Apart from Castillo have you ever seen anyone being bothered by the so called Hatton's strength.Even Collazo was surprised by Hatton's lack of power.

Another mistake is people often mistake Hatton's going forward with his face as aggression often forgetting how it should be about punching.

Hatton is good but against anyone who's good will find the road a rough one.

And to be fair he deserves a big one, much more than the likes of Zab anyway :deal

I would go for Hatton - Ricky too big too strong, and won't be that bothered by the counterpunching style. Manny would be more trouble for Ricky due to the southpaw stance.

 

hatton. he has proven hes willing to take a hit inorder to hit and get in close. unless marquez has good foot speed and respectable punches to keep hatton at a distance, hatton is coming in.

 

I think Hatton comes in regardless of what the opponent has in their fists :deal

 

While Marquez isnt Floyd.We all remember how Hatton kept saying Floyd would not be able to keep him at bay because he wasnt big enough.Floyd aint that bigger than Marquez and after many rounds of taking it,Hatton will crumple into a heap,hope he wont bring his girlfriend because she has a habit of throwing up

 

floyds foot speed is was kept hatton at bay. hatton was running all over the freakin ring trying to just get close only to get hit when was gassed. hell i felt it was a wrestling match after awhile. im surprised hatton didnt push up on the ropes to get a little rebound speed going

 

Marquez has excellent footspeed and great accuracy and head movement.If Hatton keeps blocking shots with his head at this age he will be stopped by a smaller man once more.

I'm afraid you might be right. JMM is my favorite boxer at the moment but 140 might be too much.
