First, I want to show some appreciation to both Mayweather and Hatton for having the courage to fight each other, and put their great undefeated careers on the line. I have been looking forward to this fight for years, and never thought that it would happen.

Had this fight taken place at 140, I would have been leaning towards Hatton beating Mayweather. Hatton just seems like a different animal at 140, and I really don't think that there is a fighter out there today that beats him at that weight. At 147, judging by the fact that Mayweather is extremely comfortable at welter (has fought heavier), and Hatton looked extremely sluggish in his 147 pound fight.. I am going to have to lean towards a Mayweather victory.

Now, if Hatton comes out fighting and looking like he does at 140... then we will have a different story. It's just usually history is a great indicator of the future, and Hatton didn't look anything like himself the last time that he moved up in weight. Then again, he wasn't training for a fight against Mayweather either, so that should make a difference.

Either way, full credit must be given to WHO EVER wins... because they are both in their primes, and they both agreed to fight at 147. If a man agrees to fight at a certain weight, than it can't be used as an excuse as to why he wasn't able to win. If that's the case, then he should have taken the fight. Although, I am sure if Hatton loses, he won't be looking to make excuses, just isn't the type.

I have to say though... Mayweather isn't a big welter, so it isn't as if he has some sort of huge size advantage. I just think that he is more acclimated to fighting at that weight.

Anyways, have fun tonight guys... we are lucky to have such a huge fight on our hands. Good luck to both men.....

    So basically, in summary:

If Floyd wins, it's because Hatton's a natural 140 pounder.

If Hatton wins, its because he fought like he was at 140 pounds.

    Got ya.
