A mini tournament which would turn into the biggest boxing event ever!

Hatton should now face the De La Hoya - Pacquiao winner. Whoever wins that bout would then take on Mayweather for all the honours.

    No,,, Not great.

Neither Hatton or PacMan should be fighting above 140...

DLH should'nt be fighting little guys like Hatton or PacMan...

Floyd is/was a welterweight! He needs to fight a real welterweight champion!

If you want a touney to find a legit opponent to challenge Mayweather, it should look more like this:

Winner of Cotto vs Berto... faces winner of Williams vs Clottey...
faces winner of Margarito vs DLH... winner gets Floyd.

Now that's the tournament I'd rather to see!

Well assuming DLH beats Pac, he is likely to beat Hatton too. DLH-PBF rematch? na.

Only fights worth Mayweather coming back for are fights with either Pacquiao or Margarito.

I think it will end up being Pacman and Floyd after the next 2 fights. Floyd should be forced to take a tune up next spring against someone like a Quintana or Collazo lol.

It doesn't go 100% that way, Names will be Names... Bigger stars against Superstars. We can't deny it but we need to live with it.

Besides why stop a someone who desires to be the very best. Like how I respect Pacquiao, taking more risk moving divisions to fight fighters bigger than him. Now that is much glory I would like to see.

Sounds good to me. Cotto vs Berto would be a very physical and tough fight, I dont see either of them coming out without getting pretty busted up. I think ultimately it would end up Williams vs Floyd, in which case Floyd might just go into retiriment again to avoid Williams.

pac dlh makes no sence, heck even hatton dlh is a mismatch (with dlh being too naturally big).

If Hatton wins both and beats De La Hoya convincingly at 147 he should fight Cotto
