Pac is a certified welterweight. He has already fought in 147. He always comes at that weight at fight night. He was 144 when he fought Oscar and he was incredibly fast. I believe Pac will KO Ricky by capitalizing on his handspeed and efficient footwork. Ricky can't catch and hug him. Believe you me.

If Hatton cannot throw a sharp right hand it could be easy work for Pac Man!

His strange angled rising jab he does could cause some problems with Manny coming in, and he does carry a short looping right hand which he has used effectively before with people moving in and our laterally.

I still dont see Hatton winning @ this point!

Why do people keep bringing up the Tackie fight as Hatton's masterpiece? Tackie is a bum, he had lost his two previous fights and is now famous for padding the records of every decent fighter he's ever fought (including losing to other punching bags to the stars, Gomez and Bruseles).

Im not comparing him to pac, just saying if he boxes a bit more like he did there against tackie he would win easier.

If Hatton tries to box on the outside against Pacquiao, he will be outboxed and outclassed. His advantage is on the inside.

MATTHEW Hatton outboxed and outclassed Ben Tackie, it's not that hard to do.

b/c hatton fans need and look for all hope and positivity for ricky. and if you notice most referre to the hatton of 2003-2005 as opposed to the current hitman.

but come may 2nd, pacs gonna rain down hard upon hattonwonderland.

Hand and elbow grip is the only way hatton can win this fight. I hope they are mastering it right now.

You don't know ****. He out boxed David Diaz, a master boxer in his own right. And don't forget when he put on a clinic against the weight drained Oscar last time out. Just erase the Two Marquez fights and the 1st Morales fight, and not only is Pacquiao a master boxer, he's the greatest of all time.

The only fighter who Pacs team (Roach & co) will send him out into the ring with trepidation is JMM.

Otherwise every risk is calculated to the T. This fight was figured out in the boardroom as much as in the ring.

The Pac we see now is all business, milking his last couple of years with carefully strategized lineup of opposition.

This all changes with a third match with JMM and if Floyd comes back.
