The issue with Hatton was not that Tszyu was past it.

He was, but not by that much.

The issue was the referee, David Paris.

He should get as much (and maybe more) credit as Ricky for the win.

It was a disgraceful display of biased and incompetent officiating.

Had the fight been on neutral ground with a competent fair ref, I believe Tsyzu would have won.

    Probably by KO.

Overall, Floyd is a better and more skilled boxer than Kostya, but Kostya had a lot more power than Floyd, and sooner or later he would have caught Ricky and Zabbed him.

That's my take, Tszyu was still a very good fighter when they fought but he trained for a boxing bout not a MMA contest. Holding, arm bars, rabbit punching, kidney shots, nut sack shots, the fight was a disgrace. Even Mayweather said so in the lead up to his fight with Hatton that he wouldn't get away with that sh!t in Vegas and the result was Hatton seeing stars at the end.

    Prime Tszyu wins by KO.

Team Hatton even admitted they got Tszyu at the right time.

No, Tszyu fights best if he's coming forward and opponent more of a boxer type.. tszyu needs space to be able to land jabs and his power punches..Hatton takes away those space..A prime Hatton would just be too much for him as seen in their 2005 fight

but your taking into account that they more than likely wouldnt have the same ref at the same venue.

98% of Refs would let Hatton do what he did in that fight. We all witnessed that in the PBF fight. Were as soon as Hatton got close Cortez broke them up.

Space for Tszyu a Prime Tszyu means death for Hatton. Any real fan knows this.

The referee didn't make Tszyu quit on his stool.

We all saw in the PBF fight what happens when the ref doesn't allow Hatton to 'take away those space AKA clinching'

Yeah my thoughts is Tszyu could totally outbox Hatton in his Prime. It wouldnt be close.
Ask Vernon Forrest what it feels like to be outboxed by Tszyu.

Tszyu made someone like Vernon look like a 4 year old in nappies in the ring.

one of my biggest pet hates in boxing this fight. people who sound like they didnt even see it making out there was some big conspiracy. watch the fight again ,if you've even seen it once, hatton didnt cheat anymore than tszyu did. anyone who brings out low blows as a reason is a joke. hatton did one low blow as a reaction to tszyus 5 or 6.
you lot are sad, watch the fight again, and give credit where its due if you dare.

point taken bout the ref but if you would watch the fight closely, he wasnt only holding , there was a lot of accurate punching compared to what he's been doing this days.. dont get me wrong, im a tszyu fan. i was hoping hes gonna kick hatton's butt but...Hatton reminds me of a young tyson, only smaller version

Ive watched the fight plenty and 99% of Tszyu's shots were on the belt line. Which when wearing your trunks as high as Hatton was is legal.

The Commentaters even make a comment on this. Yet Hatton total low blow was a blatant attempt to hurt Tszyu. The 50 Rabbit shots in the back of Tszyu's head yet no warning then the shot that put Hatton on the ground was above the belt line ive watched the replay about 10 times.
