I never said it was a robbery.

I said it all played a part in Tszyu losing to Hatton like Hattons management said.

From Tszyu being close to 36 years old.
From him not making weight for the first time ever.
From a 2am start at that age
From fighting away from Australia which is a 25 hour flight
From the Ref (Who i feel was Poor)
From Tszyu looking like his Power wasnt there (Foreman even said)

But the Ref for me was shocking.

No it was far from a specticle. there was more clinching than in any other modern fight ive seen.
You have to remember i counted 48 times Ricky held KT and Kt 18 times he held Ricky but i didnt count the times the both annociated holding together i didnt count those.

so thats 66 times not including the other ones. say its 30 that i missed thats only to round 9

    96 clinch's to round ****ing 9.

    Thats not a specticle.

I scored the fight as follows........

    1. Hatton clear
    2. Hatton close
    3. Tszyu close
    4. Tszyu clear
    5. Tszyu clear
    6. Tszyu clear
    7. Even
    8. Hatton close
    9. Hatton clear -1pt for low blow
    10. Hatton clear
    11. Hatton clear

105-104 on my card - would have been 106-104

well i disagree , i thought it was a top fight, but i like brawls .
and i'm sorry mate but of those 6 reasons you gave for him losing you havent been good enough to even mention hattons performance once. two of the reasons at least, the ones about a 2am start and the flight are pretty lame as well. the age thing as well has been covered in that the guy was still blatantly very dangerous. you're making him sound like a decrepit old man, which im sure he wouldnt have thanked you for.
you havent managed to give hatton one ounce of credit in any of these posts.

It was 2am for both men.

In truth, that may have suited Tszyu more?

Ok i put it this way. Then have you personally ever flew to Australia then played sport or even imagine fighting a world title fight for 12 rounds.

I know there pro's but still its a 25 hour flight in a different time zone.

Hatton did fight well but the only way he was going to beat Tszyu was to clinch and hit in close even then he was behind on all 3 cards at the time of the NUT SHOT.

And Tszyu was far from his best. Obvious is one thing to me you never seen Tszyu in his Prime.
Im not talking Judah im talking Gonzalez,Hurtado.

Tszyu my friend was giving Hatton the fight of his life at that age. Yet you expect me to believe that Zoo on nuetural ground with a different ref would not **** and pillage Hatton.

    Well Tszyu TKO 6

he must have been in england for weeks prior to the fight.
ive already said he would beat hatton at prime. and ive said before on here that tszyus one of my favorite boxers ever so obviously i have seen his fights over the years. i just believe in giving credit where its due whoever the fighter is or who he fights against, and not slagging off fighters to suit some sort of internet persona or for the sake of it, unlike most of the cretins on here. ( im not including you in this )
    nice talking to you mate.

    at 36 years old Brawler.
Common man im a Leeds fan give me more respect than that.
Id like to see Hatton if the roles were reversed.

    36 years old
Fighting a 28 year old Kostya Tszyu
At the Telstra Dome 51,000 screaming Aussies.
    With a Aussie Ref.

I think it would end before 11.

Im just saying these idiots that think Tszyu was peek must have forgot about his 2 and half years off due to major injuries and we know he beat the **** out of Mitchell but it was one fight against a Southpaw.

What ****'s me off most is the idiots that believe Hatton would beat KT in his Prime.

They need to watch some more KT because he would hand Hattons ******* to him.

Look i said congrats to Hatton i think it was the right way to beat Zoo.

But out of all Zoo's fights it was the worse to watch not because he lost.
Because Zoo is stunning to watch in motion and by it being a clinching war we saw the poorest version of Zoo.

    Yep catch up next time.

It was the only way for anyone to beat Tszyu, not just Hatton.

BTW - I picked a peak Tszyu to beat a peak Hatton. Though Ricky would give him fits.

if hatton had landed that punch on a prime castillo it would have ended with the same result. and as far as koysta, it may have been tougher but hatton had a style to beat koysta that night, and may very well been the same in his prime.

What was Vince Phillips key to beating Tszyu, and never getting rematched?

I don't think a lot of people, even years later, have yet got over that night where Hatton made P4P number 3, a decent version of Tszyu, quit on his stool.

I think Johnny Lewis would have a lot to do with that. He was a man with very little in the way of foolish pride, and would have discouraged Tszyu from taking any fight for the wrong reasons (Revege...!). Tszyu was a bit of a hot head, I'm sure he would have liked another bite of the pie, I'm pretty sure he mentioned it in a few interviews after the Chavez fight... But... Phillips only held the title for 18 months, by then it had gone to Terron Millet, I don't think anyone could discredit Tszyu for his subsequent fights to unify the division. He was hardly ducking and dodging the Phillips, as his crappy results after the Milllet stoppage really gave team Tszyu no OTHER reason than pride to pluck him from obscurity. They instead chose to stick with highly ranked, dangerous opponents to round out his career.

For the record though I would have preferred if he'd gotten around to tying up that loose end. Then maybe I wouldn't have to write out long winded posts like this one...

When are people gonna stop saying he QUIT... Lewis stopped the fight. Tszyu never said "I quit"
    NEVER!!

    So get your facts straight...

The Tszyu that Hatton beat was good enough....
