Who has the best chance of beating Hatton in the 135lbs category?
CASA, CAMPBELL, DAVID DIAZ, JUAN DIAZ (?)...did I miss anybody?

Are all these boxers not good enough for Hatton?

    Your thoughts?

Juan Diaz would get eaten by Hatton im not sure what the macabre fasation with seeing this fight is. They have a similar style except Hatton is bigger stronger and hits harder.
Campbell would stand Ricky's pressure and strength his punch may be able to keep hatton honest enough but i doubt it over 12 hard rounds.
Casa was getting his ass kicked by Kastidies and hatton is a bigger better stronger version of mike.
I dont know anything about David Diaz
Hatton is a 140 fighter - there are 2 big fights for him there he has no need to fight anyone at 135

Hatton would have beaten Corrales as well.

In truth, Hatton should have started his career as a 135lb'er, and could probably make that weight now, given the fact that he is small for LWW, and makes 140 very easily, despite having to lose almost three stone a fight!

In 2007, he had three fights, and had to lose more than his body weight in order to get down to the weight limit for each bout - now you don't put on that kind of weight by having an extra slice of ham in your sandwich!

Hatton would probably make the weight a lot easier if he had at least a little self discipline between fights, IMO he could be a much better fighter overall if he could keep the weight off between fights.

I think most people would like to see Hatton and Witter get it on, but Witter has been acting like a jilted lover for the past eight years.

Instead of bleating on constantly, he could have put himself in the driving seat whilst Hatton was making endless, meaningless defences of the fabled WBU strap - instead he was defending domestic belts against all and sundry, and being very inactive. Hatton then beat Kostya Tszyu and was catapulted into superstar status over here - people think that Hatton has always been the 'blue eyed boy' - whilst undoubtedly true, he wasn't exactly a household name until about 3 1/2 years ago. The first four years of calling out would have been pretty much meaningless to everybody, whilst up until about 18 months ago, Witter hadn't done anything to even justify a shot.

A lot of people have incorrect judgement regarding Witter - a very good fighter yes, more naturally talented than Hatton probably, but he certainly ain't a marquee fighter, as he lacks the charisma and entertaining style that people love to watch.

Say what you want about Hatton, fatty, holding etc lol, but I have only seen him in two **** fights - Urango and Vilches. Witter has been, in two of his last three, and had that shocker against Zab that we all remember.

corrales? i really don't know why he jumped 2 classes in his last fight, were i think he could have made 140. And he took on a live opponent in clottey, bad decision

Hatton usually gets in at 152 - the only time he was 160 was against Collazo, as he tried to make himself as big as his opponent, but only succeeded in slowing himself down, hardly what you want against a slick (though not brilliant, admittedly) operator.

He only puts that much on because he troughs absolutely anything in sight following the weigh in, not exactly normal!

Six weeks out from the Mayweather fight he was weighing 147 - therefore I would doubt that losing 12lb in six weeks would be a problem, he has done it in three weeks before.

He has much less trouble making 10st than Calzaghe at 12st, but the way Hatton puts on 12lb following the weigh in can prove misleading.

everyone has a small chance...there's a reason why they give importance to weigh -ins... its because the naturally bigger fighter will always have a good advantage over lighter ones.

According to Kerry Kayes he was 155 v Tyszu, and aiming to be 157 against Mayweather.

When has Hatton come in way below the 140 limit, ie 138/137? He hasn't

If Hatton could make 135 he would, because he would have a bigger advantage over his opponents, the fact he doesn't means he can't, the man has top nutritionists, and they would move him down to 135 if they could, at that weight and it would actually be a legitimate excuse to avoid Witter :D
