Hatton vs Tszyu on Classic Sports

    Showing it now...I must say, Hattons use of his head is amazing in this fight. You literally see Tszyu's face coming apart from Hattons head.

    This is not to put Hatton down. He is fully within the rules (not a single warning from the ref nor complaint from Tszyu). But damn, he's using the damn thing like a spear. Perhaps a bit of foreshadowing to the Pac fight.

    Hatton got away with murder that fight.

    The only reason their was no warning was because he got his uncle to ref the fight. Absolutely disgraceful reffing. Not a chance in hell Hatton will get away with all that crap and low blows against Pac.

    I agree. His best 'punch' of the fight was his straight head followed by a hooking forehead.

    An ugly fight that will always have some questions about it.

    I think Mayweather said it best afterwards...'I'll fight him but not in Manchester. That wasn't boxing, it was WWF.'

    So fighting away from Manchester makes the Pac Hatton fight more interesting. Because we don't know how fighting under a strict ref will affect Hatton who needs some leniency to do his best work. I still think Hatton will beat Pac however, he's the naturally stronger bigger fighter.

    Wish the Tszyu Hatton fight had been on neutral grounds. I don't think Tszyu knew what he was agreeing to. He was just thinking 'paycheck'.

    Exactly. Mayweather knew what he would be getting himself into if he fought on Hatton's turf. Hatton would have got his uncle to ref again, and be able to foul him all nite.

    I don't think Tszyu was just after a paycheck. He would have done just aswell financially out of the Hatton fight if he had fought in the states. He always stated, he wanted the biggest challenges, and fighting Hatton in Manchester was the biggest challenge out there at the time. Too bad he had no idea what he was getting himself in for.

    I believe it has something to do with those others who have used rought house tactics can actually box very well too unlike Hatton..:think

    Hattons career break through fight was disgrace and he would not made it through 12 rounds as victorious with out his MMA-chaos-boxing..

    Hatton walked through some massive bombs that night. Found it strange Magee could put him down put Tzuyus best shots couldnt???
