That I won't deny, but to take that fact away from him, he wouldn't be the same fighter, he had that will to win, same as Hatton, if it got dirty so be it, lets have it, you can't teach that to people, that's their nature and the reason they became popular.

Why are people not recognising the pony tail?

My mrs would give kostya a good seeing to from behind with her anaconda dildo, whilst yanking and his tail

Because it's a way to downplay Hatton's achievement.

That was a weird fight - how did Benn get away without being DQ'd?

Cos barkley was a downright dirty fouling ******* anyway.
And personally the yanks dont minda bit of dirty tactics where as the brits frown upon it, me i love it,a elbow here and there, a shoulder in the head

Through a good portion of boxing history one of the main criticisms put against Brit boxers was that they didn't know how to give as good as they got when fights got rough against the American and Latinos.*

*I know Zoo isn't Yank or Latino.

That's basically it, it kind of reminds me of submarines in navies in the early 20th century apparently some Admiral in the Royal Navy called them "Underhand, unfair and damned un-English" then when they saw the havoc the Germans were causing with them the attitude changed to "we'll have some of that!"

    the fight was a stitch-up.
Hatton fouled all night, he got dropped by a quality bodyshot and Parris actually bent down and asked Hatton if it was a low-blow. Ridiculous.

It was a typically boring, frantic, foul-fest of a Hatton fight. He has his own ref. Tszyu was semi-retired and just wanted the big last pay-day, that's why he didn't bother making a big deal of the fact he got shafted, he knew it was all set up.

Hatton got a raw deal in the Mayweather fight, but that's just the way things go. Frank Bruno held McCall like an octopus and hit him with plenty of rabbit punches but we never complained too much. Cleverly broke Hawk up with low blows before finishing him but we turn a blind eye.

Hatton was a rough fighter and got away with stuff against Tszyu, but it wasn't one way traffic. Anyway, Ricky wasn't going to be denied that night...

Tszyu was paid a massive £2.5 million pounds by Hattons promoter to basically end his career and hand his title over to Ricky.

Did Tszyu quit on his stool ? - says it all really - like Betty said Tszyu knew the script he was meant to lose -

Hatton fought well - but Tszyu admitted he didnt give it is all.

As for the Mayweather fight - as C-Pole said - Hatton got a raw deal because its all about levels - in the Mayweather fight - it was not about Hatton it was all about Mayweather - Hatton was just the opponnet.

Hatton may be the main local hero in Manchester or in Britain - but over in Las Vegas against the Worlds Premier fighter he was just the Opponnet.

    Them Celebs who turned up........

    Brad Pitt
    Angelina Jolie
    Denzil Washington.

They didnt come to see Hatton - it was all about Mayweather.

Them Glamorous Show Girls Ringside - were cheering and clapping while Mayweather floored Ricky and finished him off.

Hatton was just the guy lucky enough to get a shot at Mayweather and get career best paid for it - but obviously the script says he loses.

Tszyu deliberately lost now? Wow. Tszyu must have had a hell of a confidence in Hatton's chin then because he didn't half unload on it. I'd forgotten how much till I watched the replay last week.

Please. You're inferring that Tszyu willingly surrendered his title to Hatton. I've heard it all now. If you said that to Kostya's face, he'd probably slap you.
