This would be a stylistic nightmare for Hatton. Cotto would completely annihilate Hatton, its a complete mismatch, I doubt Cotto would be interested anyways in left overs.

Bad idea. Hatton's punch resistance has diminished significantly since his fight against Collazo at 47 who isn't a big puncher and had Hatton on shaky legs. Cotto would annihilate him inside of 4 rds.

After seeing him in the wrestling ring we all know he drinks too much for his own good. What he really ment to say is he wants to go drink ale at the Crown and Anchor Pub in Las Vegas like he has before on his trips to the States. It appears Hatton is ready for rehab and should leave the ring for those who are sober.

it's like he feels Cotto would have some reason to want to fight Hatton, and some way that he deserves a fight with a proven elite like Cotto.

With Ricky's completely diminished punch resistance, even Diaz could probably KO him at LWW.

A year or so ago, I definately would have enjoyed the thought of this matchup. It would have been competitive for the first half of the fight, before Miguel susses him out, and picks him apart.

However now, I'd be very worried for Hatton if he steps in with someone like Cotto. I'd go far as saying he'd recieve the worst beating of his career.

BTW, the weigh in is about to begin:
