Marquez by close decision or late TKO.

Hatton will give him a good fight but Marquez' skills will counter most of what Hatton does and even though seeing Marquez hit the canvas is NOT out of the question, it's not out of the question to see Hatton go there as well and we know Hatton can be really discouraged if he's put there while Marquez goes there, gets back up and tries to put his opponent there.

Would be a good fight .....pity it didn't happen a few years ago tho!!!!!

im slightly leaning towards hatton tho

ricky is bigger more used to fighting at 140
faster workrate .....even diaz gave jmm some problems with aggression
    jmm is slow at 140
ricky will rough him up and jump him all night

hatton late tko or even a gift decision from the evil promoters :deal

if hatton isn't significantly damaged / shot , he will outwork marquez to a decision. he did outwork tszyu , a legit 140 , does someone here think that marquez at 140 is more dangerous than tszyu ?

Like I have said regarding this fight. hatton has been done since the Mayweather fight, with his style and lifestyle. Marquez might not be shot, but he isn't seeing anymoe prime years. Whoever, wins the media and the fans of the losing fighters will say "Well, my fighter was shot." I would say the same thing being a Hatton fan, there is no point of this fight happening.

WOW peopel are voting Marquez? this bum has fought NO ONE of any note that he has beaten.

Against Mayweather he was shocking, he didn't try and win, looked scared to be in the ring, and was a real coward throughout, Hatton went looking to win against Mayweather, he landed more and despite being a whino, he went out liek a warrior.

Marquez is B level at best , Hatton would crush this joke.

    Hatton vs. Marquez

    Title: Battle of P4P#1 Leftovers
    Venue: Manchester, England
    Weight: 144 lbs. catchweight
    Referee: Englishman

    Prediction: Hatton via KO/TKO

JMM will be too old for Ricky... JMM also not strong enough and not big enough to prevent Hatton's constant pressure style of fighting...

Originally i picked Marquez by knockout but im gonna give Hatton the benefit of the doub t and assume he has something left if he does im going with Marquez by decision if it s a 10 rounder in a tuff but convincing decision 96-93 marquez with both scoring knockdowns.

remind me, who nearly Ko'ed Mayweather and fought him?

Who stood there and took a beating trying not to get Ko'ed?

    Case closed.

I am a Hatton fan but at no point was he even close to knocking out Mayweather you were probably to busy looking in the mirror to see all the fight.
