I'm not Hatton's biggest fan but I have to give him credit for testing himself (still ducked Witter). He's not a better fighter than Calzaghe but I've got to respect the fact he ****ed Warren off and chased the big fights.

I don't think Hatton ducked Witter because he thought he would lose. I think he realised it was a high risk, low reward match up.

I agree. But if he did beat Pac and then Marquez he would undoubtedly be p4p number 1.

Agreed. That's why i said if. But seriously to get yourself in a position where two back to back wins would see you regarded as the best fighter on planet deserves recognition.

I personally favour pacman over Ricky but he's so close to his final goal. Cmon Ricky.

Marquez would be his master if it happens.

yeah i'll go along with that, if he beats pacquiao, then jmm then yeah he can call himself p4p number 1 but its not gonna happen cos he wont get past pac. its mayweather all over again. (and we know he cant beat floyd) i'm not rickys biggest fan either, and i dont particularly respect him for going after these fights cos i dont think he can win them, its all about money and hype. his biggest achievement was the tszu fight which he admits was his hardest (though i spose mayweather takes the top spot on that score now) and kostya was past his best by then. he's ducked witter for years, and i lost all respect for hatton when he told witter (then the WBC champ!) that he needed to get a higher profile and beat a few top names! (even tho he'd just beat vivian harris) what a wanker. hattons ducked witter cos he knows junior will beat him. why else has he dodged him so hard over the years? most would have took the fight by now just to shut witter up. i actually thought the fight might materialise after he lost to mayweather, that he'd go chasing witters title.(like robin reid did with joe) the fact that he didnt shows how arogant he is. i cant wait for the pacquiao fight, just to see him lose again, i dont even want a knockout, i just want to see him put in his place by being outboxed and out classed, which he will be. hattons been over-rated for years and i figured the mayweather defeat would put that to rest but it just made him worse. so i'll be rooting for pac.

The Vivian Harris win was the best of an awful run of fights, culminating with him getting beat by an unproven Timothy 'Desert Storm' Bradley.
Look at the legion of fans Witter has won himself with his boxing style:huh

Good point,at least he wants the biggest fights out there and he dont come up with nonsense fights against the likes of Tocker Pudwill,i cant think of a welter/light welter bad enough as a title challenger to compare Tocker to.
