Hatton talks about how he wants a strong comeback unlike Hamed when he just retired. He said he wants a rematch with Mayweather too.

Most experts didn't give Ricky much of a chance in the first bout with Floyd, and they're not going to give him much of a chance in the rematch either. Makes you wonder, doesn't Ricky know this? Does he really think it was Cortez' fault that he lost to Floyd?

Makes you wonder... Is Ricky looking for pride in a Mayweather rematch, or another awesome payday?
    Thoughts?

if it helps his continue to duck Witter without getting ridiculed, then he will take it.
Getting your ass handed to you by Mayweather again would not expose him any more, and it would get him a lot of cash. Getting beat by Witter would end the whole Hatton myth.

He's not even the best 140lber in Britain.

I find it hard to to believe it will happen, unless its for money reasons only. Hatton did well enough, nothing to indicate he would take PBF in a rematch. Mayweather seems to be only wanting DLH late this year, and then who know what! He's leaving everyone in limbo really, He could fight Cotto and Williams and then retire and that would suit me

Hatton will have to win at least another 43 fights before he gets a shot at Mayweather again.

I hope to GOD Floyd doesn't rematch Hatton! He needs to fight Cotto whenever Arum is ready to make the fight.

You really believe it's the location of the fight.

He didn't lose by Decision - he was KO'ed. It doesn't matter where they fight - Floyd beats him every time.

No ****? I didn't know Oscar said no. I don't blame him man, Floyd still has quite a few things left to prove, IMO. I seriously hope he fights Cotto.

If they fight in England, Hatton would get knocked out in front of even more of his fans

I agree Cortez was just straight up nasty, but I don't believe Hatton has a much better chance of winning if they fight in England. I do think he has learned from the fight and is unlikely to make the same mistakes if they have a rematch.

i dunno maybe hatton has learned to control him self in the next fight, there will be less pressure on him so he can relax n maybe the home fans can encoruage him more! who knows?

Won't happen, Hatton needs a few good wins before getting another shot, doubt he'll come prepared the way he did for the first fight as well. Why not fight Witter?, at least that would be a good enough challenge to put him back in the picture.

Hatton will never get another shot because he'll never be able to make big enough fights to deserve another shot. In the meantime, PBF will be long gone.
